The thesis conducted insecticidal activities and action ways on extracts from the plant of Umbelliferae. The results showed the production rates of different parts by the different solvents, the production rates on root by 85% methanol was the most, it was 23.34%, the production rates on seed by ethyl acetate was 10.98%.Among different solvents extracts, methanol extracts from seed had the strongest contact activity against fifth instar larvae of M.separate (Walker), the correct mortality was 33.20%, The extracts had the lower contact activity against Myzus persicae (Sulzer), Aphis gossypii(Glover)and Macrosiphum avenae (Fabricius), contact activity of ethyl acetate extract from seeds against Macrosiphum avenae (Fabricius)was the strongest, the mortality was only 26.51%. 75% methanol extract from roots had the stronger contact activity against third instar larvae of Plutella xylostella (Linnaeus),the correct mortality was 43.33%, it had the strongest contact activity against fourth instar larvae of Pieris rapae (Linnaeus), the correct mortality was 100%. Death rates of contact effects on extract of petroleum ether from roots against fifth instar larvae of Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) was 50.0%. Methanol extract from roots, 75% methanol extract from roots and petroleum ether extract from seeds all had the stronger contact activity against fifth instar larvae of Mamestra brassicae( Linnaeus) , the correct mortality were 93.33%,86.67% and 80.0%, respectively. Death rates of contact effects on extracts of methanol and ethanol from seeds against fifth instar larvae of Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) were 68.38% and 53.60%,respectively.The insecticidal activities against the M.separate was studied. The results showed, Among different water contents solvents extracts ,75% methanol extracts had strongest contact activity against fifth instar larvae of M.separate , the correct mortality was 27.3%. Methanol extract from seeds and petroleum ether extract from roots all had stomach poisoning effect against the larvae, the correct mortality were 78.57% and 64.29%, respectively. Extracts had no fumigation action and antifeeding action, it had the lower systemic action and contact effects to pupae, but it had strong anaesthesia action and development inhibition to the M.separate. The anaesthesia rate of 75% methanol, methanol and petroleum ether extracts from roots were76.0% ,56.0% and 54.0% in one hour, respectively. The development inhibition rate of methanol extract from seeds and petroleum ether extracts from roots were 57.58% and 46.10%, respectively. Methanol, acetone and petroleum ether extract from seeds all had strongest contact effects to ovum, the correct no hatchability was 100%.Contact effect on different solvents fraction of 75% methanol extract from roots against the M.separate was very strong. Contact effects on fraction of petroleum ether (diluted 6 times) was stronger than fraction of ether against the M.separate, the correct mortality was 67.33%.Contact effects on fraction of Chloroform(diluted 11 times) was stronger than fraction of petroleum ether against the M.separate, the correct mortality was 60.63%.The activity of final water less than fractionofdifferent solvents against the M.separate.
