| Bulbuls lily is the traditional staple Chinese medicine in Hunan and has been cultivated more than 40 years in Long Shan county which named because of its good quality and output. Now Long Shan has been demonstrated base of GAP studying standardized planting approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology Department.Objective: To establish SOP and quality specifications of Bulbuls Lily from GAP base.Methods : The field study on the quality and output of bulbuls from the different manure, productive machining and detachable time. Manure designs two manners. One investigate the effects of potassium sulfate and calcium superphosphate, the other investigate the effects ammonium molybdate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate . Detachable time compare the quality and output of Lily. Productive machining studies on the quality of detach cloves and different boiling time of Lily. Quality specifications: The contents of polysaccharide and phosphate phenol were determinated by hydro ate-sulfuric acid and molybclenum blue colorimetric methods. Based on the first edematous amenorrhea determination method in Appendix IXH, ashes determination method in Appendix IXK and extract determination method in Appendix XA, which all in the Chinese Pharmacopeoia published in 2000.Results: The results show that potassium sulfate and calcium superphosphate can improve the content of polysaccharide and phosphate, and should get rid of flower bud and bulbils. The best detachable time is from the end of August to the middle of September. Cloves should be detached and boiled in 11 minutes. Moisture can not exceed 12.00%, ashes can not exceed 3.50%, ashes which can not dissolve in acid can not exceed 0.60%, water extract can not under 21.00% and 70% ethanol extracts can not under 12.00%, the content of polysaccharide and phosphate can not under 5.00% and 3.5mg/10g.Conclusions: The established SOP and quality specifications of Bulbuls Lily were capable and can be controlled quality and output GAP base in Long Shan.
