This paper studied planting soil, pests, fertilization rule and harvest of lily and discussed main cultivation techniques of edible lily in mountainous areas in the north of Guangdong. The results showed as follows, Firstly, the lily's planting soil is acidic on pH and deficient of organic matter and severely deficient of soil K, but comprised mezzo N and enough P, so we should fertilize the soil with more organic fertilizer and K. Secondly, there are eight pests and seven diseases to harm lily in the north of Guangdong. The main prevention measures are disinfection of soil and seeds and spraying chemicals to fields. Thirdly, lily's yield would increase if fertilized the soil with enough K, which is testified by the results of proration of N, P, and K. Fourthly, different harvest time also impacts lily's yield and quality, the best harvest time is from the end of July to the beginning of August after the natural death of aerial tree of lily.
