This paper mainly studies the establishment of resources nursery of the local fruit tree cultivars and the introduction of the high-quality fruit tree cultivars and the observation of the bud mutation of Red Fuji.We gave a comparative analysis of ecological factors of Akesu and Qinhuangdao to provide the basis for the feasibility of introduction. We introduced a total of about 350 high—quality varieties to the resources nursery. On selecting the introduced varieties,we used Gray Theory to do an associated sorting analysis at the early stage of the introduction;the results showed that Jusheng and Tengmul should be introduced on the focus of observation. From the phenological characteristics of Fuji mutation,we found that the mutation and the mother plant had the same phenological phase. After observing the cultivation of the bud mutation and the fruit quality,we found that the bud mutation was superior to the mother plant.Through grafting and pruning test,we found that the bud mutation was a short—branch mutation, and the bud mutation was a periphery chimera. Based on the statistical analysis of the stomata density, length, width and the size of pollen, we found that the ploidy did not change in the L_Ⅰlayer and L_Ⅱlayer.Through expanding propagation of the bud mutation in an area of 50 mu,the results showed that the bud mutation was steady in the growth potential of the branch and the tree potential and the characteristic of high yield. The mutation is adaptable to the local climate and other environmental factors such as the soil. The bud mutation is a high-quality mutation with thick—red and short—branch, and the bud mutation is suitable for promotion in the southern region of Xinjiang.
