Research On Selection Of Forestry Suitable Land For Taxus Media Cv 'Hicksii' In Sichuan

In this paper,with the use China's macro-related database system in geography and climate factor data(Digital Elevation Model and climatic raster data),and application of GIS technology and methods,select five habitat evaluation factors which are elevation,slope,slope,aspect,average annual temperature and average annual precipitation,preliminarily carry out evaluation and selection of forestry suitable land for Taxus media cv 'Hicksii' in Sichuan,and divide into four grades which are excellent,good,medium and poor.The results show that:(1) the area to be occupied by four grades,respectively,the ratio is 9.1%,21.9%,37.4%and 31.6%;(2) elevation and the average annual temperature of single-indicator evaluation results,turn out too many poor area, the main reason is that the difference of elevation and the average annual temperature in Sichuan from region to region is too much.Other indicators were at average size.(3) the reasons analysis for medium and poor areas classified by comprehensive evaluation shows that:influence by two indicators of elevation and average annual temperature,three indicators of elevation,average annual temperature and average annual precipitation and single indicator of elevation caused the low suitablity,respectively,accounted for 19.7%,17.3%and 10.8%,other effects are all under 7%.,The result of this study to some extent has adirective significance for the macro-decision department to promote cultivation of Taxus media cv'Hicksii' scientifically.
