In order to meet the needs of taxus, the paper studied on the rapid propagation technique system of Taxus media cv. Hicksii. Got results as follows:The study of the cuttage technique and the relationship between the nourishment station of the cuttings and the rooting rate showed that: Through choosing suitable season, cutting types, growth regulators and treatments, we can get high rooting rate and transplant survival rate. And the technique is simple , facility and low cost, it can be used in large propagation.The best season for cuttage is Oct. There's no prominence difference between quickly retting and slowly retting. But quickly retting is more simple and facility. 1000mg/LNAA retting 5s, rooting rate is 98.4%, l~5cm root surface area index is 4420.91, >5cm root surface area index is 1057, transplant survival rate is 93.33%, dry weight of root system is 0.1686g, root vitality (TTC deoxidize degree) is 73.22。The changing rule of the total contents of Carbon of the cuttings from different age maternal tree is not obvious. The total content of Nitrogen of the cuttings is decreasing while the material age is increasing. Specified contents of C and N is needed for rooting. And use C/N to describe the ability of rooting isn't ideal.The results of the study on armpit bud multiplication regeneration technique are as follows.Through choosing the best culture medium and culture technique of startup culture,shoot growth culture,rooting culture, we can get integrated test-tube plantlet.From Jan. to Mar. is the best peoriod for startup culture; The upper twigs is the best explants for startup culture; Continuously sterilize twice (6 + 6)min with mercuric chloride is the suitable sterilizing time.Concentration and proportion of growth regulators had marked effects on the startup of the buds; MS + 6-BA0.05mg/L+NAA0.5mg/L is the suitable culture medium for startup culture of Taxus media.MS (double organic matter) culture medium with no growth regulators is the best culture medium for strong sprout culture. The valid buds rate is 60.57%, mean length of buds is 2.7cm.WPM + 6-BA0.05+NAA 1.0 is the relatively fit culture medium for rooting culture, the rooting rate is 27.78%. Transplant the plantlet with roots to the culture medium WPM with no growth regulator, after 30 days, the mean root number is 5.5, the mean root length is 1.6cm, the longest root is 5.2cm.The illumination time is 12h/d, the illumination intensity is 1500lx, culture temperature is 25±1℃.Use IBA 1000mg/L retting cuttings 30s can get high rooting rate.
