Orthogonal experiment and Single-factor experiment of nitrogen, phosphor and potassium were conducted with the methods of variance analysis,multiple comparison and regression analysis to study their effects on the growth and physiological indexes of Adinandra millettii seedlings in order to understand the productivity effect and the proper amount of fertilization supply.Single-factor experiment results indicate tha(t1)The nitrogen application has significant effect on the heighth , ratio of root and crown, average single leaf area and average single plant leaf area, branch biomass, stem biomass,leaf biomass and total biomass while has less effect on the single leaf weight , the growth of collar diameter and the asimulation of root biomass. the proper application amount of nitrogen was 0.78~0.94g/ pot.(2)The phosphorus application play a important role on the biomass, growth and physiological indexes although there is no significant differents in collar diameter and branch biomass between different phosphorus application treatments. the proper application amount of phosphorus was 0.441~0.603g/ pot(3)The potassium application has significant effect on the heighth , leaf biomass,stem biomass and total biomass ,also has significant effect on chlorophyll content and photosynthesis rate in leaves while has not significant effect on other growth index or characters in leaves . the proper application amount of potassium was 0.408~1.128g/ pot. Orthogonal experiment results indicate that(1)The Orthogonal application has the most significant effects on the heighth growth ,ratio of root and crown , biomass of every organs and the total biomass, characters of leaves , chlorophyll content.(2)The effect of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium application on the growth of Adinandra millettii seedlings was as following: nitrogen> phosphorus > potassium.(3)the proper application amount of nitrogen ,phosphorus and potassium was N : 0.708~0.889g/ pot ,0.261~0.348g/ pot ,0.903~1.102g/ pot.
