Study On The Countermeasures To Improve The Quality And Safety Level Of Vegetables In Weifang

Weifang City is China's major vegetable production areas and the well-known "vegetables'hometown of China". Vegetables are now occupying an important position in the local rural economy, and vegetable production and the output value are more than food crops. Weifang is one of the earlier cities that carry out the safe production of vegetables. The security situation of the vegetables quality has been always on the advanced level of the country. However, there are still many problems in vegetable production and quality control process. How to strengthen the supervision and control of the production process, improve the degree of organization of vegetable production, implement the standardized production and agricultural inputs management and increase government support to improve the level of quality and safety of vegetables become an issue that needs to be seriously thought and resolved.The paper studies the situation of the vegetable production, quality and safety and quality management in Weifang city, and analyzes the main influencing factors of the quality of vegetables in Weifang city, and puts forward the proposals to improve the quality and safety of vegetables level of Weifang city.The research results show that: the main vegetable products are in better security situation in Weifang city and the quality of vegetable improves year by year. However, the vegetable pesticide residues in the products are still serious due to the chemical fertilizers and pesticides increasingly used. Weifang city explored that how to build the system of vegetable quality and safety. It has made more effective to establish standard system, perfect the system of laws and regulations and establish a framework for the management structures and operational mechanism. The atmosphere of standardized production of vegetables has been formed, and the control of the quality and safety has been implemented in the process of vegetable production, so the level of vegetable quality and safety has been greatly improved.The paper analyzes the influence of production environment, production technology, government guidance and supervision, and farmers'cultural qualities, production model of organization and integrity mechanisms of quality for the vegetables quality. The main factors that influence the vegetables quality are as follows. First, the excessive use of agricultural inputs is impact of vegetable production environment. Second, the farmers'low cultural qualities and the degree of production organization restrict the level of security and quality of vegetables. Third, under the government management and guidance, the constitution and implementation of policy are not good. The system of agricultural standards is imperfect and agricultural products and agricultural inputs are not in place to monitor the testing. The system of market access and the retrospective mechanisms on vegetables'quality are imperfect in vegetable trade. The vegetables and integrity management mechanism has not yet been established.Aimed at the existing problems, the author puts forward several measures to improve the level of vegetables'quality and security of Weifang city combining the actual vegetable production management situation of Weifang.â‘ To increase the degree of vegetable production organization, encourage enterprises to establish a own base. To speed up development of the cooperative association of vegetables production.â‘¡To fully implement of the standardization of agricultural production, establish a sound system of vegetables standards, use standardized management and establish the quality retrospective mechanisms.â‘¢Pay close attention to agricultural inputs management, improve the market access system of agricultural inputs and in the main vegetables producing areas, establish the chain supermarket of agricultural inputs.â‘£Government should further support the agricultural production, to provide the supports of vegetable production technology and market information for the farmers., and the fully implement the vegetable market access system.
