In order to reveal the special characteristics and potentially medical usefulness of Sonid Bactrian Camel milk, first of all, the contents of fatty acids, mineral elements, vitamins of Sonid Bactrian Camel were analyzed by use of the methods of GC and atomic absorption spectroscopy respectively, and also compared with component differences of these materials in the Alxa camel's milk.The results indicate that the middle and long-chain fatty acids were predominant fatty acids in Sonid Bactrian camel milk. The even-numbered long-chain saturated fatty acids were C14:0, C16:0 and C18:0,the main polyunsaturated fatty acids was C18:1 in fatty acids(C12:0~C18:3)of Sonid Bactrian Camel milk. The contents of vitamin C and E were a little lower than Alxa camels milk and the contents of vitamin A ,B1 and B2 were obviously higher than Alxa camels milk. The contents of calcium which occupied the highest level in the mineral matter of Sonid Bactrian camel milk were a little higher than Alxa camels milk and the contents of kalium were a little lower than Alxa camels milk. Chemical composition and contents of Sonid Backtrian Camel milk were similar than Alxa camels milk.To observe the naturally fermented milk from Sonid Bactrian Camel on the effect of immune function and liver cancer H22 cells tumor-bearing mice, forty Kunming mice (half male and half female) were randomly divided into four groups of high dose, middle dose, low dose of naturally fermented milk from Sonid Bactrian camel and negative control group, and 10 mice in each group. The results indicate that significant differences were observed in inhibitory rate of tumor growth in naturally fermented milk groups compared with the negative group. The naturally fermented milk from Sonid Bactrian camel can block the tumor cells cell cycle in S phase detected by flow cytometry. The naturally fermented milk from Sonid Bactrian camel can significantly increase the spleen index, thymus index and enhance macrophage phagocytic function, as well as the small intestinal Peyer's patchs, small intestinal SIgA and a marked increase in CD3 in tumor-bearing mice. Therefore, the naturally fermented camel milk can inhance the immune function and have some anti-tumor effects.
