| OBJECTIVE: The quality control is the key problems in the modernization, industrialization and internationalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Radix platycodonis are the bulk herbs in our coutry,Shandong is the main origins,they are largecultivated in zibo,linyi,etc.Under the guidance of the theory and practice of Chinesemedicine,We completely studied on different growth periods,parts,origins of Radix platycodonis with the techniques of chemically qualitative and quantitative analysis,including textual criticism and resources,biological identification, evaluation methods and quality indicators,fingerprints,and so on.The purpose of this thesis is to provide scientific data to establish the quality control method and standard of Radix platycodonis.METHODS: We did biological identication to different growth periods and origins of Radix platycodonis with the techniques such as Pro-PAGE,POD-PAGE,EST-PAGE.We did conventional determination including water,extractives,ash,pesticide residues and heavy metals.We did quantitative analysis to polysaccharide,amino-acid,total saponins and platycodin D.Fingerprint and its similarity were studied by HPLC for the first time.RESULTS: We established the Pro- PAGE,POD-PAGE and EST-PAGE of the cultivars and producing areas come from Platycodon grandiflorum (Jacq.)A.DC.for the first time.We also firstly probed into the growth periods,parts and producing areas of Radix platycodonis with the techniques such as HPLC quantitative analysis,saccharide analysis,amino-acid analysis,extracts analysis,ash analysis and water analysis.The results showed that the growth period of Radix platycodonis in the second years was appropriate.The quality of Radix platycodonis planted in Zibo,Shandong was better.According to experimental data,we draft perfect quality control method a standard,which provide scientific basis for modernization of Radix platycodonis. |
