The giant panda(Ailuropoda melanoleuca),a world-famous,rare and endemic species in China and valuable treasure gifted by nature,is deeply loved by the people all over the world.Its biological characteristics are still comprising a number of mysteries and continuously attracting the interests of research people.This study was on the captive giant panda in Wuhan Zoo about its feeding and living regularity as well as disease treatment.These results are very useful for giant pandas as well as other wildlife conservation in the nature。The objects of research were the four captive giant pandas in Wuhan Zoo.The study has been lasted 21 years since 1985.The history and present status of giant pandas are described in this article.The living regularity,captive habitats condition and food of captive giant pandas in Wuhan Zoo have been researched and summarized its results, including the results of disease treatment and the chemical drug restraint of the giant pandas.The lifetime of the giant panda "Du Du",had been lived in Wuhan Zoo,is the longest in the world.This results of study on old giant pandas were under captive condition in Wuhan Zoo.
