Under different lime levels,effects of bioorganic fertilizer on soil fertility and growth,physiological,yield and quality characters of cassava were investigated using pot and field experiments.Pot experiment has three lime levels,i.e.0 g,25 g and 37.5 g/pot(0 g CaO,1 g CaO and 2 g CaO/kg soil). and five bioorganic fertilizer levels(pecentage of organic N to total N,the same as below),i.e.0%,25%,50%,75%and 100%.Field experiment has three lime levels,i.e.0,285 and 570 kg/ha and three bioorganic fertilizer levels,i.e.0%,25%and 50%.The main results indicated that:1.Bioorganic fertilizer increased soil organic matter,available N and K content.Lime reduced the soil organic matter,available N and K contents.2.Bioorganic fertilizer improved soil invertase activity,but decreased the catalase activity to some extent.In the pot experiment,compared to the control treatment,100%,75%and 50%of bioorganic fertilizer treatment increased soil invertase activity by 127%,93.1%and 61.7%respectively. Lime could increase soil urease activities significantly.Compared to the 0 lime treatment,soil urease activity was increased by 34.1%-56.1%and 25.9%-101.0%when applied with 1g and 2g CaO/kg soil,respectively.3.Appropriate ratio of bioorganic fertilizer could increase leaf soluable sugar content and leaf chlorophyll content.Compared to the control treatment (CK),leaf soluable sugar content was increased by 5.3%at 25%of bioorganic fertilizer treatment(76 d after planting,DAP),and leaf chlorophyll content was increased by 3.5%at 50%of bioorganic fertilizer treatment(116 DAP)in the field experiment,And leaf chlorophyll content increased by 14%at 75% of bioorganic fertilizer treatment(90 DAP)in the pot experiment.4.In the field experiment,compared to the CK,bioorganic fertilizer treatments increased leaf N content by 12.53%-13.89%,but decreased the leaf K content.And lime desreased the leaf N content.5.Compared to the CK,25%of bioorganic fertilizer treatments increased the yield by 8.3%and starch yield by 8.9%.The above-mentioned results indicate that 25%-50%of bioorganic fertilizer can increase the soil organic matter,available N and K contents and improve invertase activity and the yield and starch yield of cassava.Lime can increase the urease activity,but decrease the soil organic matter,available N and K contents.
