| Different methods of preparation and different dosage of Shengjingsan which was prepared by three methods of preparation was added to basal diet of AA—ArborAcres male chicken at 1 day-age. T lymphocytes E-rosette, T lymphocyte transformation rate, licking up ability of neutrophil leucocyte, phagocytosis rate of macrophage and erythrocyte immunity in blood, IgG and newcastle disease antibody titer in serum were measured at 7,14,21,28,35 and 42 day-age. Immune organs were weighed. Histopathological sections of the immune organ were stained for the observation of histopathological changes. The best dosage form and dosage were chosed for 15-week-old male cocks. Semen was collected for surveying spermatogenic first time at 20-week-old and serum testosterone (T) was measured. Size of whiskers and testicular weight, testicular volume, testicular index were measured ,and histopathological changes of testicles were observed at 25-week-old. volume of semen, azoospermia, sperm count,motility rate, sperm abnormality rate, pH value were measured and the number of effective sperms calculate was calculated at 29-week-old.Results shows that Shengjingsan can improve index of immune organ significantly(P<0.05). The Shengjingsan extracted with ethanol have the best results. T lymphocytes E-rosette, T lymphocyte transformation rate, licking up ability of neutrophil leucocyte, phagocytosis rate of macrophage and erythrocyte immunity and content of IgG are improved obviously(P<0.05. Antibody titer of New castle disease is rised and the time is lasted. Size of whiskers, testicular weight, testicular volume, testicular index, spermatogenic first time, volume of semen, azoospermia, sperm count,motility rate, number of effective sperms, level of testosterone ,fertility rate of hatching egg, Hatchability of eggs,all hatching hatching rate,healthy chick rate,healthy chick number are rised. In a word , Shengjingsan could improve immune function and reproductive ability of breeder roosters. |
