This paper uses chemical-flow analyzer to test and analyze the main chemical composition of stock cured tobacco raw material of Huaiyin Cigarette Factory; analyze and master the main chemical composition status of the raw materials in each producing area uses by the factory in recent years; analyze and master the main chemical composition status of the formula materials in recent years; found the ideal demand of the main chemical composition in the tobacco leaves raw materials the factory needed in the future, establish enterprise's standard for purchasing raw materials in the future.1. The total sugar(%), nicotine(%), total nitrogen(%), total chlorine(%), protein(%), reducing sugar(%), pH value and K conten(t%)were detected for Huaiyin Cigarette Factory 1999-2003 years raw materials inventory altogether 210 cured tobacco specimen. Figure out the ratio in total sugar / nicotine, HTJ value(reducing sugar / total nicotine), total nitrogen / total nicotine, total sugar / protein, potassium /chlorine . Analyze the content characteristics.2. Analyze the main chemical composition of the main formula raw material used by Huaiyin Cigarette Factory, found out the disparities of chemical composition between raw materials of stockpile and ideal demand, establish theoretical standard of chemical composition for purchasing raw materials. Using this standard can reach the aims of controlling the source when purchasing, narrowing the differences between processed cigarette inherent quality and expectation value by using technical means in the early processing, easing the used pressure of cigarette formula, maintaining the stability of cigarette product quality and improvement. The results show that:(1) Among the main chemical composition of Huaiyin Cigarette Factory , total sugar content, reducing sugar content, sugar / base ratio,reducing sugar / nicotine ratio, appreciably to high, mainly due to the characteristic demand for local products; Nicotine, total nitrogen, total chlorine, potassium content, total nitrogen / nicotine, potassium/ chlorine were comparatively ideal conform to index demand of chemical composition for "international high grade tobacco", the chemical composition of tobacco leaves is quite balanced in general.(2) The difference of cured tobacco chemical composition of Huaiyin Cigarette Factory in each producing area were significantly, regional difference is large.(3) The various indexed of the tobacco leaves in Huaiyin Tobacco cigarette factory in the year differences was not significant, only chlorine content, protein, pH value can reach a very significant level, total nitrogen reach significant level, other levels of total sugar, nicotine, reducing sugar, potassium not reach significant levels.(4) Various chemical indexes were comparatively ideal of the inventory raw material in Huaiyin Cigarette Factory, can reach the actual production demand.(5) Establish enterprise's standard for purchasing raw materials: total sugar 18% ~28%,reducing sugar 16% ~26%,reducing sugar / total sugar≈85 ~90%. nicotine 1.5% ~ 3.0%,sugar / alkali≈10 ~ 14,reducing sugar / alkali≈8 ~10,total nitrogen 1.5%~2.5%,total nitrogen / nicotine≈0.8 ~0.9,potassium ion 1.5%~ 2.5%,chloride ion 0.2~0.6%,potassium and chlorine ratio≥4.
