Mink Aleutian Disease (MAD) is a kind of tardy durative contagion caused by parvovirus. Aleutian Disease Virus (ADV) mostly aggrieve immune cell in order to disturb itself immune system.The classic form of MAD is characterized by persistent viral infection, the development of plasmacytosis, hypergammaglobulinemia, and immune complex-mediated glomerulonephritis and arteritis.MAD has occurred in all the country of breeding mink. It has become tackle key disease in the world. It has over 60 years since it was discovered. Although correlative experts in the world have engaged in this study all the time, the immune prevention and cure of ADV isn't captured yet.Many foreign mink farms have adopted quarantine measure to clean their farms, but as a result of durative affection, taking virus lifetime, abroad transition way and infection approach, MAD is not deracinated all the time.This reseach emphasized on development of inactived vaccine of ADV and triumphantly prepared out the vaccine. We carried through a series of tests in laboratory and clinic to seek after the security of inactived vaccine. Following is the brief works of this study.ADV were cultivated in Crandel Feline Kidney Cells(CRFK)and collected for making inactived vaccine of ADV. By definite technological process, oil emulsion inactived vaccine of ADV was prepared successfully.Safety trial was carried on young mink. The young minks all were health and survival and there wasn't any untoward effect. There weren't any pathologic changes in postmortem examination. The test results proved that inactived vaccine of ADV was on the safe side.Inactived vaccine of ADV was inoculated in healthy mink. We detected the antibody titer and CIC content on the vaccine at regular intervals. After 60 day, we carried out viruses attacking test and detected the antibody titer and CIC content on the vaccine in a month. We also examined the pathologic changes in killed mink. The results indicated that inactived vaccine could protect minks against the challenge of ADV.Attacking to vaccine for three month and six month with virulent strain, the results showed that inactived vaccine for three months or six months could protect minks against the challenge of ADV with 100 percent protection rate. This proved that the effectiveness of immunization could be maintained invariability in six month.The results of retention period trial and field trial indicated that vaccine was convenient for conservation or transportation. The vaccine was suitable to clinical use.
