This research includes functional requirements of bulk grain terminal, and comparative analysis of existing warehouse type,summing up the method warehouse-type choice of bulk grain terminal,and in accordance with the need to develop new warehouse type and sets of technical equipments,this research can be used for guiding projects, conservation investments and improve the cost-effective, and raise the grain logistics efficiency and reduce logistics costs.Analyzing domestic grain logistics, the main factors that effect warehouse-type choices are client, grain varieties, single-hull form on the warehouse storage capacity type with the requirements of the request for food broken grain storage performance requirements, the requirements of the grade of mechanization, covers an area, geological conditions, service life, construction cycle, and so on.About mechanization degree, area, and endurance requirements, cost, time limit, food storage, food broken, operating costs, adaptability, and other aspects, have a systematic comparative analyze the existing reinforced concrete squat warehouses, reinforced concrete silos, steel squat silos, steel Silos, flat warehouses, and determines the method and steps of warehouse-type choice.Investigating on adaptability and existing problems of existing domestic bulk grain terminal project, study and develop a new warehouse-type, i.e. the first is orthogonal arrangement reinforced concrete silo, warehouse capacity is too small and can not meet the operation requirements of equipments which has large capacity. If we adopt ramps TAC 60 degrees to arrange, and each group silo is removed a silo, resulting in the plum blossom-warehouse which storage capacity is 1.3 times of the storing capacity general warehouse, this method can not only solve the small-warehouse storage facilities, but also improve the cost performance ratio; the second one is, because construction of trench squat warehouses is difficult, the cost of moisture-proof treatment is too large, equipment is easy to be rusted, efficiency of warehouse sweeping equipment is low, failure rate is higher, need workers to clear warehouse, we design and develop new squat warehouse with multi-cone funnel bucket, which well meets the demands of the port silo, that grain outflow itself and the silo has large single silo storage capacity. The third one is, warehouse has the shortcomings of low mechanization level, low efficiency, high operation costs, poor operation environment, we research mechanized flat warehouse, all mechanized grain receiving method on silo top, and most of grain output by self-flowing, the remained grain can be transported by sweeper and scraper, this process can advance grain loading height, reduce the covering area and cost, this study has been honored.Comparing analyzing the transportation equipments of bulk grain terminal, the result shows: the first one is, cost and performance of closed-type belt conveyor is much higher than that of air-cushion belt conveyor and idler belt conveyor, so we decide to select closed-type belt conveyor firstly. The second one is, if grain can be transported along horizontal direction, we need to use the ramp belt conveyor. The third one is, the conveyor which can be used to unload grain on many positions, is a trend in the future.
