Building warehouse has been adopted for more than twenty years as a traditional kind of warehouse, which improves the land utilization and effect of grain storing. However, in the past, the grain stored in the building warehouse were always packed in bags, so, the problems of low utilization and disadvantages of grain loading, discharging, shipping and storing were existed in building warehouse. Building warehouse storing loose-packed grain is exactly a new kind of warehouse which could resolve the problems existing in the traditional building warehouse; it is also a kind of warehouse with huge promotion value. Whereas, wall pressure deriving from grain acting on the wall of the warehouse and complication of grain storing situations will bring forward some new questions in aspect of structure design. There will be uncertainty if the calculation is performed as current structure calculating principle. Therefore, it is necessary to research the key problems existing in structure calculation and the whole mechanical properties.It has taken a 3 floors high reinforced concrete frame building warehouse in Tianjin Lida Modern Grain Logistics Center Expanding Project as research object in this paper, combined with current characteristics of warehouse store, main functions as well as realizing patterns such as type of warehouse wall, mechanization of grain loading and discharging and thermal insulation of the warehouse are explored; simulation of building warehouse structure in multiple typical grain storing situations by large-scale finite element software ABAQUS is performed, internal force and deformation of the key and whole structure are acquired; with disposing and analyzing of the simulation results, coMParison of stress and deformation of warehouse wall and pillars in different conditions is performed, the worst combination of grain storing and its load effect are obtained, coMParing with current code for design of concrete structures, conclusion is acquired as this: structure calculation of building warehouse storing loose-packed grain has its own particularity, it is not right to calculate exactly as code for design of reinforced concrete frame structure.With research in this paper, it is realized the main function of building warehouse which stores loose-packed grain, references and bases of code for design of building warehouse storing loose-packed grain have been brought forward, which also lay foundation for the promotion of this kind of warehouse.
