Xinjiang is one of the largest cotton production bases in China. In recent years, cotton has become the leading industry in autonomic regional economic development and rural areas. Xinjiang located the hinterland of Eurasia, the location belongs to drought and desert area, climate is desiccation, rainfall is exiguity, annually rainfall is less 200mm, the water consumption of cotton is mass. The crisis of water consumption become remarkably. The research is mearsuring different economical character, physiological-biochemical characteristic in contrast land and drought-stress land, utilize the SSR(simple sequence repeat) to depict the classification chart of 28 cotton varieties.(1) 28 cotton materials were divided three groups:the drought-stress group, the drought-susceptive group and the contrast group. The drought-resistance varieties of 28 cotton varieties:A-21,49631047,red leaf cotton, nongguan 1 hao. And the Tashkent 1 hao, NF-1, Liao5856, E-guang3400, ZhongR2016, Xingluzao1hao, C42-1, Qi-4136, KK1543, C6015, Shuofeng1hao, KucheC310-5110, Zhong07, Duanjiedai, Liaomian3hao is stable in both groups, as normal cotton varieties. Dalingwang, Kuche96518, Hongyebaixu, Xinpao1hao, Yun93kang393, Shiyang1hao, Zhaomian203, ZhongR2007, CZ-50 as drought-susceptive varieties.(2) Evalute drought-resistance of 28 cotton varieties through different physiological-biochemical (SOD,CAT,MDA) characteristics.The effect was reflected by physiological-biochemical characteristics under drought-stress. The conlusion is :shuofeng1hao and hongyebaixu is better than other cotton varieties in three physiological-biochemical characteristics index.(3) The genetic diversity of 28 cotton varieties were detected by 300 SSR markers. The result showed that :when the correlate coefficient is 0.506 of 28 cottons, the cluster analysis showed that 2 groups(without C6015) can be divided.The first group include 18 varieties;The second group include 9 varieties. The biggest correlate coefficient is 0.99, between 49631047 and Dalingwang.(4)The conlusion of select drought-resistence varieties showed: Hongyebaixu, Hongyemian, A-21, Shuofeng1hao, 49631047, Nongguan1hao, Xingluzao1hao are drought-resistence varieties.
