The Development Of Karamay Central City Openspace Management Information System

This research according to climate, soil, water resources environment condition and the requirements of green-space maintenance management of Karamay central city, We Adopt MapX and integrated technica1 design of VB6.0 to develop the open space management information system of Karamay.This system includes two parts:the System of Urban Green Management and urban greening management intelligent decision support system. This System realize based on GIS system input,electronic amplify,dwindle,operate,which functions included user management, data input, database maintenance, inquiry and graphical display,and it may carry on the dynamic inquiry,browseing and search of differently green type afforestation management information of Karamay. Otherwise this system has many functions such as adding ,renewal and deletion of data.Mainly has the user management, data input, database maintenance, inquiry and graphical display, may carry on the city differently green type afforestation management informationdata the dynamic inquiry.The research is developed on basis of Remote Sensing(RS) technique and Geographical Information System(GIS) technique, MapInfo software has powerful map creation function combined with VB advanced programing languages made this system is more practicality and countenance. Green space management technologies are the body part of this system.The application of GIS in greenspace managemental is a new test of our managemental work. Development Environment is more common in our components development ,because of this , the system simple and user—friendly,highly compatibilityand then we can reduce cost of development of the system. This system realized exhaustive query function especially in managemental technologies function modules.It has strong functions. This procedure greatly improves the efficiency and increase the management level of green space management in Karamay.
