For the purpose of gangue heap ecological restoration, the crushed coal gangue will be as a main component of the growwing media,and add soil, super absorbent polymer, controlled-release compound fertilizer and bacterial manure as four factors of growwing media consisting.There will be 4 levels of each factor, L16 (45) orthogonal matrix table was been chosen for arranging the level of factors in each category of growwing media.16 different types of growing media were abtained.After the end of growing season,Nutrient were compared between the growing media and coal wastes. The result of pH value were decreased, total nitrogen content decreases, Available P and K content were increased, the percentage of organic matter were reduced, a part of nutrient were lossed.. The water evaporation were inhubited by the super absorbent polymer, ensure that the plant has a high rate and seedling germination rate.Amorpha fruticosa and Tall fescue were sowed in the each category of growwing media, The optimal growwing media was obtained by analysising the relevant indicators value of the plant,The indicators of the plant were significantly affected by the soil of the growing media, and the contribution rate is the highest, In the most suitable growing media for the growth of tall fescue and Amorpha fruticosa,gangue dust particle and soil volume ratio is 2:1 and 1:1,Add 2kg super absorbent polymer , 800g controlled-release compound fertilizer and 670g bacterial manure to the mixture of gangue dust particle and soil per cubic meters. Coal wastes particle size and soil texture limit plant growth as the main factor in the early stages of plant growth, the growth of Tall fescue situation is better than Amorpha fruticosa.The result of quota analysis showed that the crushed coal wastes were as the matrix of raw materials, compared to conventional technology covered soil, The amount of materials used and manpower were reduced 1/2-2/3.
