Effect Of Organic Matericals On Morphological Character, Physiological Property And Quality Of Flue-Cured Tobacco

Plot exeperiments had been conducted in Experiment Science Park of Henan Agricultural University in 2006, which studied the effect of organic materials on morphological character, physiological property, carbon and nitrogen metabolism and relative components of flue-cured tobacco K326; Meanwhile, the field experiment conducted in the XiangCheng County of Henan Province studied that the effect of organic materials on yield, value, inner chemical composition, the neutrality volatile aroma and physical characteristics of flue-cured tobacco Zhong Yan 100. The results were as follows:1. Organic materials could promote root growth in earlier stage, and maintain the better root system character index in later stage. The indexes of root system character of applied chemical fertilizer,decayed sesamecake and sesamen oil as nest-fertilizer were better than CK in earlier stage, and the treatment of applied decayed sesamecake as nest-fertilizer was the best in dome stage.2. Applied decayed sesamecake as nest-fertilizer could raise root system vigor and the activity of Nitrate Reductase in vigorous growth phase, and dry matters accumulation of leaves in dome stage. Organic materials applied as nest-fertilizer could increase the activity of Nitrate Reductase and rate of Chla and Chlb of upper leaves in squaring stage.3. The indexes of economical character between overground and underground showed remarkable positive correlation extremely. Root system vigor was remarkable positive correlation with the content of Chlorophyll and the activity of Nitrate Reductase extremely, too.4. The activity of Nitrate Reductase declined gradually after topping, and the rate of INV/NRA ascended gradually. The content of chlorophyll, total nitrate and free amino acid declined and the content of nicotine ascended on the whole. Organic materials applied as nest-fertilizer could raise the contents of chlorophyll, free amino acid and nicotine, reduce the contents of starch, water-soluble sugar and reducing sugar. 5. The activity of SOD rose, and which of CAT rose at first and lowered at last during the process of maturity of tobacco leaves. Referring to the content of MDA combining with the activity of SOD and CAT, the treatment of applied decayed sesamecake as nest-fertilizer was the better to oxidation resistance.6. Organic materials applied as nest-fertilizer could raise the economic character of flue-cured tobacco, improve the quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves which on the top and bottom greatly. Organic materials could raise the contents of K and petroleum ether extract, lower the content of total N and thickness of leaves, and bring down the content of NO₂^- notablely of upper tobacco leaves. And organic materials could improver the content of K and the ratio of K and Cl^-, lower the contents of Cl^-, NO₃^-and NO₂^-, and raise the content of carotenoid, thickness of leaves, weight of per leaf, weight of per area and tensile strength of lower bobacco leaves. Meanwhile, organic materials could steady the content of total N, improve the contents of K, petroleum ether extract, carotenoid and the neutrality volatile aroma, lower the content of Cl^- of middle tobacco leaves.7. Roasting of extension(Yellowing time of extension) could lower the content of starch notablely, raise the content of reducing sugar in the mass, increase the content of carotenoid remarkablely, and raise the content of free nicotine and the ratio of reducing sugar and water-soluble sugar greatly. The contents of total N, nicotine, protein and the ratio of K and Cl^- of the treatments which applied decayed sesamecake,roasted sesame and sesame oil as nest-fertilizer which roasted by time extension were more than which roasted under nomal operation. The picking way which put off picking could improve the contents of total N, nicotine, protein, carotenoid and the ratio of K and Cl^- ,and lower the ratios of reducing sugar and water-soluble sugar, water-soluble sugar and nicotine, and the content of petroleum ether extract of the treatments which applied decayed sesamecake,roasted sesame and sesame oil. Roasting of extension and the picking way which put off picking could improve the content of the neutrality volatile aroma of upper leaves in the mass. The treatment of applied roasted sesame as nest-fertilizer was better than other treatments.On the whole, the treatment applied decayed sesamecake as nest-fertilizer was the best to growth and inner quality of flue-cured tobacco.
