| This paper studied the effects of sulfur dioxide stress on physiological characteristics and color of Prunus cerasifera Var atropurea,Prunus×cistenena'Purpleleaf and Chevry',Prunus wrasifers'nigra'and Prunus×bliriana'Meiren'four species of colored-leaf trees of prunus in closed chamber. The results showed that the Membrane- lipid Peroxidation enhanced, malondialdehyde content, proline content and soluble protein content increased, peroxidase activity, superoxide dismutase activity and catelase activity increased, the pH value decreased with increasing sulfur dioxide, there are evident correlation between eight index and synthetical evaluated result, considered these index as important index of colored-leaf plants on the resistance capabilities, there are evident difference of the absorbed sulfur content of four species trees, the most sulfur absorbed was the Prunus wrasifers'nigra'; Synthetical evaluated result of subordinate function analysis suggested that the resistance capabilities from strong to weak of four species of colored-leaf trees of prunus was in order of: Prunus cerasifera Var atropurea,Prunus wrasifers'nigra',Prunus×cistenena'Purpleleaf and Chevry',Prunus×bliriana'Meiren'. Anthocyanin contents, total phenolics content, flavonoids content and chloraphyll contents increased at first then decreased of four species of colored-leaf trees of prunus with increasing sulfur dioxide. The damage of SO2 to the chloraphyll a of four species of colored-leaf trees of prunus was more than chloraphyll b. The carotenoid pigment content of Prunus wrasifers'nigra'and Prunus×cistenena'Purpleleaf and Chevry'reduced all the same, but that increased at first and then decreased in Prunus cerasifera Var. atropurea and Prunus×bliriana'Meiren'. |
