Study Of Sustainable Development Of Flue-cured Tobacco Production In Shuicheng

Shuicheng is located west of Guizhou. The total area is 3584km~2, the plowland is 12.66万hm~2. the plowland for tobacco is 2.68万hm~2. The history of planting tobacco is old-line. Broad planting tobacco began in 1985, and now it has developed stable planting tobacco areas 12 towns such as Nankai et al. On usually, the area of planting tobacco in Shuicheng is 0.27-0.33万hm~2 each year, the tobacco industry has developed a important agronomics industry in Shuicheng, and became a dominating profit approach for farmers. Climate of Shuicheng is adapted to grow of high grade tobacco, such as water, soil, and ecological environment. Quality of tobacco was improved from tobacco manage system of Shuicheng was reformed, but sustainable development of tobacco production was affected by regulation of agricultural industry, draggled base construction of tobacco production, distemperedness of risk insurance mechanism of tobacco production, and maladjustment of quality and grade of tobacco for tobacco industry, and so on..Based on the analysis and evaluation of ecological environment, natural resources, agricultural industry structure, quality of technological personals and tobacco farmer, status of infrastructure and management, flue-cured tobacco quality, grade of tobacco, organizing mode of production, guarantee mechanism of production and so on, the restriction factors were founded and the strategies were put forwarded pertinently for sustainable development of tobacco production in Shuicheng in the present paper. Seven ways were as follow:1. Establishing the cultivation and protection system dominated with tobacco;2. Enhancing the centralizing degree of tobacco planting;3. Strengthening the infrastructure construction and improving the conditions of tobacco production;4. Improving the technological service system for tobacco production; Strengthening to play the supporting role of scientific and technological for sustainable development of tobacco production;5.
