The antibacterial activity and InsecticidalActivity of nicotine was tested. The best ratio of Nicotine and Capsicine against theexperimental insects was also preliminarily discussed in this paper which is 11.3 to 1.The thorough study had been carried out on extracting technology anddetermination of technological parameters. Nicotine from tobacco is leaching anddistillation, and the method of detecting is Ultraviolet Spectrophotometric method. The results showed that different organic solvents, time period, temperature andstirring all added tremendous influence on the extraction of nicotine. The bestexperimental condition is that tobacco residue is extracted with 95%alcohol at 60℃for 6 h. The higher alkali density is also helpful for the enhancement of the extractionratio of nicotine and the efficiency of Wet Distillation of nicotine. In the experiment micro-fog method was used to test action of contact poison topotato bug. Straight line interpolation method was used to process data. The resultsshowed that nicotine had high contact toxicity (48hLC50=3.07g/L) against potato bug.Its correction mortality rate(4.4 g/L) is 78.9%compared to 84.2%(beta-cypermethrinEC 2500 folds dilution) at 48h. Capsicine also had good action of contact poison.LC50 value at 48h was 1.82g/L. Oral toxicities of nicotine solution and capsicinemicroemulsion against Epilachna vigintioctomaculata Motschulsky were studied bymeans of Leaf blade adherence poison method. LC50 value of nicotine was 1.66g/L at48h, while oral toxicities of capsicine were difficult to determine because of its strongrepellent effects. The best mixture ratio between nicotine and capsicine was fond outthrough micro-fog method which was 11.3: 1. The new biological pesticide providedhigh contact toxicity and strong repellent effects which will be widely used in thefuture. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Nicotine, Extraction and Depuration, Action Of Contact Poison, Oral Toxicities, Matching | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
