Effects of substituting paddy grain for corn were studied in broiler chickens diets in this article. The result shows:1. The conventional nutritional ingredients were different between paddy grain and corn. The CF ratios of paddy grain(paddy grain A contained 5.72%,paddy grain B contained 7.12%) was obviously higher than corn(1.6%), metabolic energy(paddy grain A was 11.18MJ/Kg,paddy grain B was 11.03 MJ/Kg) was obviously lower than corn(13.47 MJ/Kg).There was no significant difference on protein, but the corn's EE was twice than the paddy grain's. The content of EE was 3.5% in corn group, while two paddy grain groups were 1.63% and 1.6%.The content of Lys in paddy grain was higher than corn. Paddy grain and corn were not substantial in nutrition.2. There was no significant effect on growth performance in broiler chickens while paddy grain replacing corn in different rations., On the contrary, whether the feed conversion ratio or body weight gain in paddy grain group was better than corn group on protophase performance trait of broiler chickens. According to productive practical condition, the paddy grain can replace corn completely in broiler chickens diets.3. There was some effect on nutrient digestion and absorption capacity in broiler chickens while paddy grain replacing corn in different rations. When substituting paddy grain for 100% corn, the metabolic rate was distinct lower than control group.4. There was no significant negative effect on serum biochemical markers and organ development in broiler chickens, there was no significant effect on healthy while paddy grain replacing corn in different rations.
