The experiment was conducted to examine the effects of different basic diets (corn and paddy) and the different rate (30%,60%, 100%) of corn replaced by paddy with multienzyme preparations on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, serum biochemical characteristics and fecal microflora in growing and finishing pigs.Fifty pigs with similar initial weight (26Kg) were averagely assigned to five groups with 10pigs per group according to a completely Random Design. The groups were fed with the following diets. The details were as follows: Group â…  :corn-base diet ,no enzymeGroup â…¡:corn-paddy-base diet 30% of corn replaced by paddy, with enzyme Group â…¢:corn-paddy-base diet 60% of corn replaced by paddy, with enzyme Group â…£ :paddy-base diet 100% of corn replaced by paddy, with enzymeGroup â…¤ :paddy-base diet 100% of corn replaced by paddy, with enzymeThe full experiment included growing(30-60Kg) and finishing(60-90Kg) phase. The results showed that:(l)The results of growth performance show:Compared with pigs in group I ,pigs in group V decreased average daily gain (ADG) by 3.74% and 1.47%(P>0.05), feed/gain (F/G) by 6.02% and 10.84%,but increased average daily feed intake (ADFI) by 2.03% and 9.20% in growing and finishing phase,respectively..Multienzyme preparations increased growth performance in pigs.Pigs in group IV increased ADG by 4.52% and 4.89%(P>0.05),but decreased F/G by 4.92% and 5.31% when compared with pigs in group V in growing and finishing pigs, respectively.ADFI was similar between group IV and V .Compared with pigs in group I ,pigs in group IV increased ADG by 0.60% and 3.35% (P>0.05), F/G by 0.80% and 4.95%,ADFI by 1.42% and 8.48% in growing and finishing pigs, respectively. In addition,ADG, F/G and ADFI were similar in growing and finishing phase between pigs in group II and I . Moreover, compared with group I, pigs in group III was respectively increased by 2.51% and 5.57% (P >0.05), ADFI by 1.26% and 4.90%,however,similar F/G in growing and finishing phase. As far as total growth performance, groupIII was best among all experimental groups .(2)The results of nutrient digestibility for the diet of group â… ,â…¢,â…£ and â…¤ show:...
