Effect Mechanism Of Reduced Nitrogen Application On Grain Quality Of Spring Maize With Different Nitrogen Efficiency

Abstract/Summary:
For the decrease of corn grain quality and low utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer,this study used three typical areas in Inner Mongolia autonomous Region(Hetao plain,Tumen plain and loess gully)to used three maize varieties with different nitrogen efficiency(Xianyu 335,Zhengdan 958 and Jingke 968)as test materials,and applied three nitrogen levels at 0kg/hm ~2(N0),150kg/hm ~2(N150)and 300kg/hm ~2(N300).The effect of different nitrogen application on the grain quality difference of different genotypes of maize varieties was explored,aiming to clarify the mechanism of maize starch biosynthesis in different regions,reveal the difference of maize grain quality in different ecological regions in Inner Mongolia,and clarify its change law.The results are as follows:1 The range of crude protein in each variety was from 7.65 to 13.45%,and the range of crude starch was in 1.86~11.16mm.Crude fat ranged from 2.98 to 4.70%,and crude starch ranged from 65.17 to 72.35%.In all regions,the crude protein content of Xianyu335 is higher than that of other varieties,while in the three regions,the crude starch content of Xianyu 335 is lower,and in Wuyuan County,the crude fat content of Zhengtong 958 is the highest in Xianyu 335 in Karaqin and Tumochuan areas.2.Different nitrogen fertilizer had great influence on maize yield and quality,the yield of N2 treatment was slightly higher than N1,an average increase of 11.60%,each variety in N1 treatment was significantly higher than N0 treatment;Jingke 968 varieties showed N1 treatment than N2 treatment.3.In different regions,different nitrogen doses had different effects on starch synthase,and the proenzyme activity was increased first and then decreased.Under the N1 conditions,The AGPase enzyme activity of Xianyu 335 is higher in Wuyuan County,the AGPase enzyme activity of Jingke 968 is higher in Karqin Banner,and the AGPase enzyme activity of Zheng958 is higher in Karqin Banner;The GBSS enzyme activity of Xianyu 335 is higher in Wuyuan County,the GBSS enzyme activity of Jingke 968 is higher in Wuyuan County,and the GBSS enzyme activity of Zhengdan 958 is higher in Karaqin Banner;SBE enzyme activity of XY 335 was higher in Wuyuan County,SBE enzyme activity of Jingke 968 was higher in Wuyuan County,and SBE enzyme activity of Zhengdan 958 was higher in Karaqin Banner.4.According to the comprehensive evaluation of corn grain quality,yield and nitrogen efficiency by rank sum ratio comprehensive evaluation method,it is found that the nitrogen reduction treatment of Jingke 968 Zhengdan 958 was the best in the Karqin Banner and Tumet Right Banner,and the nitrogen reduction treatment of Xianyu335 and Jingke 968 was the best in Wuyuan area.
