| Delphinium grandiflorum is one of the important native plants which have its owngeographic characteristics in Xinjiang. Local minority people had the habit to use it to curethe respiratory diseases for long time. In order to exploitation and understand its medical value,part of medical integrants,including polyphenol, tannin and alkaloid were determined bydifferent methods and the improve immune boost effects was observed in this paper .Polyphenols and alkaloid in Delphinium grandiflorum collected in same place and at same timefrom Talimu Basin were detected by chromometry and organic solvent distillation.The resultswere shown that contents of the polyphenols and alkaloid were counted for 2.856% and 0.015%,respectively.Tannin in Delphinium grandiflorum collected from 6 different places wasdetermined by spectrophotometer. the contents of tannin in Delphinium grandiflorum grew in6 different places were 5.225%, 5.290%, 4.900%, 4.763%, 4.528% and 4.320%, respectively.Statistical analysis was shown that there was no significant difference(P>0.05)intannin content between Delphinium grandiflorum which grew in Regiment No.5 and in thearea near the 18th kilometer of the desert highway. However, there were significant difference(P<0.01) among the Mingfen, Kuche, Atushi and Tieganlike Delphinium grandiflorum . thebroth made by the plant was orally taken to chicken as feed additive in order to see its efficacy ofimmune boost effect on chicken inoculated with ND vaccine. Through HI test, red cell C3bRrosette test, EY-erythrocyte rosette test and immune organ exponential test, we found thatDelphinium grandiflorum has not only an important influence on increase humoral immunity aswell as cell-mediated immunity to ND vaccine ,but also promote the growth of thymuses, spleensand French bursas. |
