| Broccoli, which was green vernalization plant in developmental process, can't accept low temperature, until the plant grows big enough. It isn't clear about vernalization reaction mechanism of green vernalization plant now. Our experiments took early maturing variety of"Qingfeng 103", medium maturing varieties of"Beilv"and"lvxiu"as the materials to research the relation between vernalization, carbon and nitrogen metabolize by studying the effect of different plant age on broccoli venalization, the effect of different light intensity on broccoli vernalization and the effect of sucrose on broccoli vernalization. This would provide base theory for the studying of physical base to vernalization and plant floral.The results show that:The growing status of different maturing varieties plant, which can accept low temperature to complete vernalization is different. The broccoli seedling which was early maturing variety, with 5 leaves and 4.62 mm in stem diameter, begin to be sensitive to vernalization of"Qingfeng 103", seedling which was medium maturing varieties of"Beilv", with 7 leaves and 6.1mm in stem diameter, begin to be sensitive to vernalization and the seedling of"lvxiu"also need to reach 7 leaves age and 6.4mm in stem diameter to begin sensitive to vernalization. And it shows that the latter plant ripened, the larger of plant would be required to accept low temperature, and the longer time that plant vernalization needed. And with growing of plant, it became short of accepting low temperature and completing vernalization in broccoli. To all of these maturing varieties, shading postponed the time of plant to accept effective low temperature and prolonged vernalization time. The plants under 35% shining was postponed a leaf age to accept low temperature comparing with control, and the plants under 15% shining would delay more time. Early maturing variety could accept low temperature at stage of six leaves and was treated 13 days to complete vernalization and mid-mature culture of"Beilv"could accept low temperature at stage of eight leaves and was treated 24 days to complete vernalization under 35% shining.
