In this experiment,three hundred seventy nine of twenty one days old A A meat chinckens (hens) were assigned to each of three treatments with fifty two repl ications. In the treatment A,the compound-antibiotics was added in basal diet. In the treatment B,the distillate of aloe was added. In the treatment C, the distillate of propo lis was added.In this experiment,the effect of feeding distillate of aloe and propolis w-ere studied on the performance ,the blood index,the body quality and the meat qualityof the meat chicken. The results of this experiment indicated that: 1) Food utilization was increased obviously as 4.78% and 6.77%( P<0.05) in the treatment which added distillate aloe and propolis comparing with the matched control.Both can increase the mataboleze of protein.( P<0.05)2)Both distillate of aloe and propolis can decrease the surum content of glucose as 20. 90% and 18.21%( P<0.05)comparing with matched control,but the serum globulin was increase as 47.72% and 34.30%.( P<0.01)3) Both the distillate of aloe and propolis can increase the rate of leg muscle( P<0.0 5),and decrease the rate of the stomach fat.4) Both the distillate of aloe and propolis can increase the protein content of meat c hicken( P<0.05).And the content of plumbum was decreased obvilusly comparied with matched control and the treatment add with propolis( P<0.01).
