Influence on Flue-cured Tobacco Yield and Quality by Different Baking Technology and Barn Types in Yongzhou Tobacco Area This study was to compare the intrinsic chemical constituents in cured leaves such as reducing sugar,nicotine,chlorine,nitrogen,potassium,and starch of three main cultivated flue-cured tobacco varieties HY-9-7,Yunyan 87,K326 under different baking technology curves. Combining with the cost of different treatments in baking,we contrasted its appearance quality and economic value then investigated the best baking process of all varieties. By comparsion of the nine different types of intensive barn we explored the most suitable one in Yongzhou tobacco area. Renovating intensive barn,adding ventilation and hot air circulation system,we promoted the most suitable tobacco cured process, so the quality of bed tobacco leaf production in Yongzhou tobacco area had been improved greatly. The results showed that:1. The synthesized performance of cured leaf of HY-9-7 was the best according to the followings. When the lugs of HY-9-7 were in the dry bulb temperature of 38℃and the wet bulb temperature of 36℃, the 70% percent of it was yellowing,it became soft and its main vein 1/2 was soft, but the wet bulb temperature was stable at 38℃before dry bulb temperature was 45℃;When the cutters of HY-9-7 were in the dry bulb temperature of 38℃and the wet bulb temperature of 36℃,the 90% percent of it was yellowing, it became soft, its main vein was 1/3 soft, but wet the bulb temperature was stable at 38℃before dry bulb temperature was 45℃; When the upper leaves were in the dry bulb temperature of 38℃, and the wet bulb temperature of 37℃, all of it was already yellowing,it became soft, its main vein was 1/3 soft, but the wet bulb temperature was stable at 39℃before dry bulb temperature was 45℃.2. When the wet bulb temperature of Yunyan 87 and K326 leaves were increased appropriate during leaf-drying stage, the quality of their cured leaves could be improved moderately. The occurrence of microstrip in their upper leaves was reduced greatly.It is higher in the treatment 1 of the high grade leaf ratio and average price in lugs and upper leaves, and it is higher in treatment 2 of high and middle leaf ratio and the average price in cutters, but the difference was not significant. Under the above condition,Yunyan87's cost on baking is sightly lower but K326's energy consumption increased slightly.3.By comparison of nine different types of bulk curing barn test, according to the upper leaf economic traits, chemical composition and appearance of quality, combining with the cost of baking, we draw a conclusion that the most suitable curing barn was the Xiangmi NO.1.in Yongzhou tobacco area.4. We had modified the barn was to test combing with the technology test of three bobacco varieties and the contrast test of different barn types, the results proved that adding ventilation and hot air circulation system reduced the horizontal and vertical temperature in barn and it conducedtobacco leaf to be yellowed and set color, its cured leaf to be full of color coordination with the chemical composition the aroma and taste to be improved,the availability to be increased.
