Feed is a important product of agricultural means of production. With the rapid economic development both in China and around the world, both domestic and foreign experts and scholars attach importance to straw puffing feed, for its convenient application and fertilizer efficiency. In order to understand the characteristics of straw dry-stored feed and puffing feed, a new type of feed should be developed for livestock. This method can replace the currently existing traditional breeding methods and improve the nutritional level and quality of livestock, so as to lay a foundation for achieving the standardization of agricultural feed.Besides,in order to fully enhance the nutritional value of straw and expand straw utilization, this paper presents a puffed new technology. Its main purpose is to enable the starch of agricultural straw turn gelatinized, to make the internal structure changed, to reduce anti-nutritional factors, to make protein denaturized, to increase soluble fiber, to produce high-quality feeds with protein particles. The major findings are presents as follows:1. The mode for transforming from microbial ferment straw into feed is developed with different physical characteristics of different kinds of livestock, including the ratio of ferment bacteria, enzyme usage, straw crushing degree, accessories application, water content and other research , so as to form the ferment products.2. The research of feeding method by transforming microbial fermentation of straw into feed is studied. The optimal ratio of straw ferment feed to replace concentrated feed is studied by feeding different types of livestock and feeding the same kinds of animals at different growth stages respectively.3. Puffing process is made with mixed powder by using a single-screw puffing granule machine. As long as the operation is reasonable and properly with an accurate production process, the feed up can achieve national standards.4.Through observing the puffing structure and degradation structure by using scanning electron microscopy, we can find that three-dimensional porous network structure is formed by puffing material.5. Cattle and sheep feeding trials is took in Tianjin and Jilin Province. The average weight after feeding were higher than the weight before feeding. Through this test, the average weight increase is 0.092kg / head. Day and 1.52 / head. Day.6.Feeding trials is took in Bse in Tianjin Beichen District and Donghai. The average weight after feeding were higher than the weight before feeding. We choose 5 or 10 livestock. So we can achieve the result that the average mile yield reduced by 0.24kg / head. Day and 0.70kg / head. day. with the same roughage and the same amount of concentrate feed.Through 2 years tests, a new puffing technology with independent intellectual property rights is developed. It can make use of industrial and agricultural waste to produce quality cattle and sheep puffing feed with less cost than a traditional fine feed and positive effects.
