Applied Research Of Experience Design For The Sightseeing Fruit Orchard

Since the living standards of modern urban residents have been increasingly improved, and as people desire to be close to nature, back to nature and experience the pastoral life, sightseeing orchard emerged. It is a fruit orchard which includes leisure experience, production, recreation, ecology, science education and many other functions. In the past two decades, tremendous economic benefits, ecological and social benefits were brought about with rapid development. Sightseeing orchard design is a kind of experience process that allows tourists to learn from personal involvement and gain knowledge, in the premise of the participation of tourists, to make the tourism experience as the core, the servers as a stage, products as props, and environment as a scene.Nowadays, our country's tourism planning and design of the sightseeing orchard is still in its initial stage, especially the development of experience design is by far lagging behind. Many difficulties have occurred in the process of exploration and practice. However, with the modern development of the tourism industry, unprecedented attention has been paid to the experience design of sightseeing orchards. Experiencing Design has been more reflected in the design of sightseeing orchards. There are new problems to be studied which designers have to face, including finding a new mode of development, stepping out of the traditional model orchard planting, enriching the contents of experience design and content, and creating a unique design concept that reflects the experience of the sightseeing orchards.In this paper, the orchard design practice and tourism background was reviewed, followed by an interpretation of the significance of establishing sightseeing orchards. Taking the design for the fruit orchard in Hunan Highway Training Center as a case example, such basic concepts and principles were brought forward as designing the orchard as people-oriented, ecological sound, and sustainably developmental. Based on the this theory, the design fundamentals like personal participation, cross-cutting, lighting, point color, sound, planting plan, topography, water pieces, landscaping, roads, and leisure plaza space were friendly coordinated. In such a way, the design effects of activity participation, visual experience, touch experience, and smell and hearing experience were wonderfully demonstrated. This thesis paper intends to help solve the problems which we faced at this stage, through the practice of experience design for the sightseeing fruit orchards. An innovative way was successfully tried, and it is believed that with the help of these new ideas and concepts raised, as well as the example presented, the development of sightseeing orchards will be more scientific, human-oriented, and environmentally healthy.
