| Objective Our adult lumbar MR imaging to measure the progressive development of radiology maxillofacial radiology, and on since the 1980 s, and gradually improve the development of medical imaging for image measurement, has been transformative, remarkable tremendous progress and development. In medical imaging technology, and gradually developed X-ray video technology, X-ray film, digital subtraction techniques, computer image processing technology. At the same time, arthrography, sialography, angiography, and other imaging technology has also been a more rapid development, and further enrich the content of the lumbar spine MR imaging radiology. In this study, lumbar spine MR imaging measurement data, the establishment of gender discrimination, height inferred age estimation methods, providing new targets and new methods for forensic identification. Methods In this paper, 3.0 T or 1.5 T superconducting magnetic resonance imager(Siemens) fast spin echo(TSE) sequence, T1-weighted using TR / TE = 400/12 ms scan, T2-weighted using TR / TE = 3400 / 120 ms scan, sagittal slice thickness 5 mm, cross-sectional thickness of 5 mm. Scan range includes L1,2 ~ L5S1 segment. Vertebral disc endplate zone MR signal changes in diagnosis and classification method based on Modic. The main outcome measures have vertebral height / weight ratio of the size of normal lumbar MR in sagittal diameter / height ratio of the size of the vertebrae in the lower back and the size of the body angled coronal plane, lumbosacral angle size and different age groups, vertebral / cerebrospinal fluid contrast to noise ratio of normal lumbar spine MR images of different gender and so on. This experiment will be done under the guidance of the Qingdao Municipal Public Security Bureau of Interpol team and the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. Results The study found that individual indicators there are some differences in each age group, the 41-50 year-old age group, the biggest consideration might be related to the development and degeneration. In addition, the length indicators are significant differences between the sexes, and substantially all male> female, but almost no difference in the angle indicators, that is, slightly larger than the female male lumbar spine, but the ratio of the two is substantially the same morphology can be understood as the male and female lumbar only difference compared to the size of the actual internal structure is similar. Conclusion The development of forensic anthropology for the identification of race, gender, age, height, and other individual characteristics of human skeletal remains provides a more diverse approach, the accuracy is also improved. Studies of adult lumbar individual identification made a lot of important results, but far from perfect, practical method are relatively small. With further research and increased observation of the sample, the micro level application identification techniques and the establishment of intelligent computer identification system recovery, forensic anthropology to identify adult lumbar future direction of development. |
