Purpose:Reviewing the literature of the nearly 30 years of domestic medical treatment of children with functional constipation,and analyzing the basic information, TCM treatment methods, clinical thinking in order to gain the common law. At last summarizing the current status and problems of research, estimating the future of Chinese medicine treatment of children,s functional constipation,and proposing the ideas of the further reach.Methods: In this paper, the method of bibliometric is be used with which analysis and study the literature of treating the functional constipation using Chinese medical.Then leading into grade system of evidence of TCM clinical literature quality,analyzing several aspects of basic information, TCM, prescription drugs and efficacy. All the diagrams are drawn by the software to Excel 2007.Results: This paper involves 194 references literature,in which the governing law literature 110, outside literature 13 drug treatment, acupuncture, acupressure, auricular therapy literature 61, a comprehensive literature 8, two syndromes research literature. Syndromes literature class 56; contains a total of 88 prescriptions, and contains traditional Chinese medcine 130, appears 763 frequency.Conclusion: Included in the journal of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatmentof functional constipation with 154 references, syndrome differentiation and treatment(I) 56 references, specially the treatment(II) 69 references. The treatment methods are mainly the governing law, external treatment, combination therapy, The functions of governing law are strengthening Spleen, supplementing qi,eliminating congestion, nourishing yin. The prescriptions mainly are created by reportors.More medcines are be used,but the frequently medcine is concentrated.
