Objective:To observe the effect of Traditional Chinese medicine of Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease rat model and its possible mechanism.Material and method: 3-4 month old Wistar rats 40 were randomly divided into control group(group 1), model group(group 2), Traditional Chinese medicine of Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation group(Group 3), western medicine group(Group 4), 10 rats in each group. Pathological changes in pulmonary arterioles were used for rat model of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Ultrasound scan was performed to monitor follicle development.Naphthalene two vinyl amine hydrochloride colorimetry was was performed to monitor NO content. The data to "standard deviation"( sx±)said,by single factor variance analysis using SPSS 17.0 statistical software, each group two two compared with LSD method, the P<0.05 has statistical significance。Results:(1)HE staining showed that: compared with the control group, Alveolar was destoryed obviously, the pulmonary septal thickening, and inflammatory cells infiltration increasedin model group;compared with the model group, the pulmonary arteriole wall of Traditional Chinese medicine of Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation group and Western medicine group was thinner, the lumen wasbigger, and Traditional Chinese medicine of Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation group is more obvious than western medicine group;(2) Naphthalene two vinyl amine hydrochloride colorimetry and Elisaresults showed that, compared with the control group, the expression of TNF- alpha, IL-6 in the model group were obviously increased(P<0.05), the content of NO increased significantly(P<0.05), while the Traditional Chinese medicine of Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation group, western medicine group can significantly reduce the content of TNF- alpha, IL-6 and NO in serum(P<0.05).Conclusion:The Traditional Chinese medicine of Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation can obviously improve the degree of lung injuryof the rat model of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease pulmonary arterioles, and its mechanism may be related with the regulation of expression of serum oxidative stress factor TNF- alpha, IL-6 and NO, and ultimately achieve the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease effect.
