| Objective:Relevance to system evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine therapy for the curative effect of peptic ulcer related helicobacter pylori, compare the differences of the clinical effect between traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in the treatment.Methods:Retrieve of literature about the TCM treatment of helicobacter pylori related peptic ulcer in China national knowledge infrastructure(CNKI), Weipu database(VIP) on January 1, 2004- December 31,2014, In order to ensure a comprehensive literature search, it is used to retrieve by subject headings and keywords in each database, as "ulcer", "helicobacter pylori or Hp", " traditional Chinese medicine", "Chinese medicine", "Chinese herbal medicine" and so on,Use Stata11.0 software for data analysis.Results:The 499 articles are retrieved,Eliminate 143 repetitive articles by reading the title and abstract, by reading the full text, 28 articles are included according to include and exclude criteria, 1 piece of literature data is not complete, it can not be used, a total of 27 paper conform to the requirements at last,Methodological quality of the included literature is low, it is bias,Seven articles observe the adverse reactions, 2 articles of patients follow up of patients after 6 months, 4 articles follow up of patients after 1 year,according to the different curative standard, this study of the comparison between traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine group is divided into seven asperts in Meta-analysis.(1) Overall cure rate: A total of 9 articles were included,There is heterogeneity between studies(P = 0.052, I2= 48.0%), OR that means the effect value of merge is statistically significant(Z = 3.24, P=0.001), the value of OR(95% CI) is 2.29(1.39,3.78).(2)Overall efficiency: A total of 11 articles were included,There is no heterogeneity between studies(P=0.139,I2=32.5%), OR that means the effect value of merge is statistically significant(Z=4.37,P=0.000), the value of OR(95% CI) is 2.27( 1.57,3.27).(3) the healing rate of ulcer under gastroscope observation: A total of 17 articles were included,There is heterogeneity between studies(P=0.090,I2=33.2%),OR that means the effect value of merge is statistically significant(Z=3.55,P=0.000), the value of OR(95% CI) is 1.67(1.26,2.22).(4) the efficiency of ulcer under gastroscope observation: A total of 16 articles were included,There is heterogeneity between studies(P = 0.078, I2 = 36.4%),OR that means the effect value of merge is statistically significant(Z=2.78,P=0.005), the value of OR(95% CI) is 2.02( 1.23,3.31).(5) the efficiency of the clinical manifestations: A total of 10 articles were included,There is no heterogeneity between studies(P=0.626,I2=0.0%),OR that means the effect value of merge is statistically significant(Z=2.77,P=0.006), the value of OR(95% CI) is 1.79(1.19,2.71).(6) the eliminate rate of H. pylori: A total of 23 articles were included,There is heterogeneity between studies(P=0.007,I2=47.1%),OR that means the effect value of merge is statistically significant(Z=3.02,P=0.002), the value of OR(95% CI) is 1.60(1.18,2.18).(7) the recurrence rate of H. pylori: A total of 6 articles were included,There is no heterogeneity between studies(P=0.932,I2=0.0%),OR that means the effect value of merge is statistically significant(Z=5.13,P=0.000), the value of OR(95% CI) is 0.30(0.19,0.48).Conclusion: This scientific evaluation of the research results shows that compared with the conventional medical treatment, TCM treatment has a curative effect for the clinical symptoms and signs, the healing rate of ulcer under gastroscope observation, the elimination and lower recurrence rate of Hp about peptic the disease, has less adverse reactions, etc,But because of the methodological quality of the included literature is relatively low, there are many limitations, it has not maken sure conclusion about the effect of TCM treatment for the disease,The scientific evaluation of the clinical effect of it ’s TCM treatment remains to carry out clinical random-control trials furtherly and extensively, and formulate the function mechanism of it.
