Objective:To analyze the drug resistance to commonly used antibiotics of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Binzhou people’s hospital, and to provide experimental evidence for clinical rational use of antibiotics to prevent infection. Methods:We Collected22850specimens from clinical departments between2011-2013, isolated and cultured bacterium by conventional methods, then identified bacterium and did susceptibility testing by using BD PHOENIX-100automated microbial identification system, K-B method. We judged the susceptibility test results (criteria) according to "anti-drug susceptibility testing microbiological performance standards" of2012.Results:Pseudomonas aeruginosa were detected in974cases, The detection rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was4.26%. A higher proportion of Pseudomonas aeruginosa positive samples were in the department of ICU, respiratory medicine and neurosurgery. A higher proportion of detected specimen type was sputum samples and secretion samples. There showed lower antibiotic resistance rate for amikacin(5.81%), cefoperazone/sulbactam (6.76%) and ceftazidime (11.30%).Conclusions:Higher drug resistance rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa prompt us to strengthen monitoring of susceptibility and guide rational drug use. We recommend the combination of carbapenem antibiotic,β-lactam inhibitor compound drugs and aminoglycosides or quinolones to treat the Pseudomonas aeruginosainfection in hospital, and the spread of drugresistant strains can be prevented by using antibiotics interchangeably.
