Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Cervical Heart Syndrome By Cutting Edge

Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of edge needle therapy on carotid cardiac syndrome cases and the distinction with acupuncture therapy by estimating changes of the symptoms score and total score of the main symptoms, the Tradotional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome total score, individual disappearance rate of the main symptoms, the recovery rate of Electrocardiograph(ECG) and the clinical efficacy. To provide the clinical basis for edge needle therapy on carotid cardiac syndrome and popularizing the edge needle therapy in clinical application. To provide new ideas for clinical treatment of carotid cardiac syndrome.Methods:Sixty carotid cardiac syndrome cases were randomly divided into an observation group and an control group, thirty cases in each one. Regular symptomatic and supportive treatment were applied in both groups. Additionally,edge needle treatment were applied in observation group at the first,fifth and ninth days after entering the group,one treatment for a course and three courses in total. Acupuncture treatment were applied in control group,one treatment for a day and last thirty minutes every time, four continuous treatments was considered as one course, and three courses in total.Symptoms assessments were observed before treatment, after four days, eight days and twelve days of treatment, and follow-up after one month of treatment. ECG test were observed before and after treatment.Results:â‘ After four days, eight days and twelve days of treatment, the score of the main symptoms such as chest tightness, chest pain, palpitations and neck pain,and total score, the total score of TCM syndrome were all reduced apparently as compared with those before treatment, the difference was statistically significant within the two groups (p<0.05). the score of the main symptoms and total score, the total score of TCM syndrome were decreased with the prolongation of treatment time.â‘¡The difference of the symptoms score of the main symptoms, the TCM syndrome total score, individual disappearance rate of the main symptoms, the recovery rate of ECG and the clinical efficacy were not significant between the two group (p>0.05). The difference of the main symptoms total score was statistically significant between the two groups (p<0.05). After four days, and eight days of treatment, The difference of the main symptoms total score D-value has statistically significant between the two groups (p<0.05).â‘¢The difference of the TCM syndrome total score of the follow-up after one month of treatment has statistically significant within the two groups compared with before and after tretment (p<0.05). The differences were not significant between the two group (p>0.05).Conclusion:â‘ Edge needle therapy have a certain therapeutic effect on carotid cardiac syndrome patients, and have the same clinical curative effect as acupuncture therapy.â‘¡The edge needle therapy has a better improvement effect in the total main symptoms than acupuncture therapy on carotid cardiac syndrome patients.â‘¢Both the two therapies were failed to maintain the efficacy of after treatment in the one month follow-up, but the one month follow-up period still has certain remedial effect, and the remedial effect of the two therapies in one month follow-up has no diffirence.â‘£Both the edge needle therapy and the acupuncture therapy have no obvious effects on abnormal electrocardiographic pattern of carotid cardiac syndrome patients, but the edge needle therapy is slightly better than the acupuncture therapy.
