Objective:Evaluating the recent and interim efficacy of massage combined traction treating for young adults’prominent type lumbar disc herniation(LDH),Investigate the superiority and characteristic of massage combined traction treating to young adults’prominent type lumbar disc herniation. Methods:A retrospective clinical study of the methods used in this study,by analyzing and arranging the date of clinical diagnosis and treatment of the past.Comparing the clinical efficacy and security of massage combined traction with microendoscopic discectomy (MED) treating to young adults’prominent type LDH by gathering JOA lumbar dysfunction score,VAS pain score, recurrence rate’statistics.Results:(1).Comparisons two groups’JOA lumbar dysfunction and low back and leg pain VAS score when the end of treatment, upon examination, p<0.01,The difference was statistically significant, Description two treatments at the end of treatment of prominent young adults lumbar disc herniation could obtain significant effect.Comparison the two groups, upon examination,p<0.05,The difference was statistically significant,Description MED groupimprove lumbar dysfunction and relief lower back and leg pain better than the traction massage group at the end of treatment.(2).Comparison two groups’ JOA lumbar dysfunction and low back and leg pain VAS score after12±2weeks of treatment, JOA score test, upon examination, p<0.01,The difference was statistically significant, Description MED groupImprove JOA dysfunction better than the traction massage group after12±2weeks of treatment. But the low back and leg pain VAS scores were not significantly different, upon examination, p>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant, Description there was no difference in improving lower back and leg pain of two groups after12±2weeks of treatment.(3). Comparison two groups’ JOA lumbar dysfunction and low back and leg pain VAS score after One year±one month of treatment, upon examination, p<0.01,The difference was statistically significant, Description two groups could improve JOA Lumbar dysfunction and lower back and leg pain VAS scoreas good after One year±one month of treatment.Comparisonscores between the two groups, upon examination, p>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant, Description MED group improve JOA lumbar dysfunction and lower back and leg pain VAS score as good as the traction massage group after One year±one month of treatment.(4) Comparing two groups of patients overall efficacy data, upon examination, p>0.05. The difference was not statistically significant. Description two groups has the same overall effect in a year.(5). Comparison the complications and recurrence rate of two groups, upon examination,p>0.05, the difference was not statistically significant, Description two groups has the same complications and recurrence rate of treating this disease in a year.Conclusion:(1). Microsurgery endoscopic discectomy and massage combined traction could improve lumbar dysfunction and lower back and leg pain which were caused by disc herniation obviously.(2).Comparison of short-term (after12±2weeks of treatment.) efficacy, MED group Term Improve lumbar dysfunction better than the traction massage group, However, no significant difference in pain relief.Comparison of mid-term (after One year±one month of treatment) efficacy, the two groups has a same mid-term results (Improve back function and Low back pain)(3).In the treatment of young adults prominent type LDH,the recurrence rate of MED was higher than the massage combined traction.(4).Massage combined traction contrast MED treatment of this disease is simple, convenient, safe, effective, reliable, dialectically, etc, which will help in the clinical use(5).MED group of surgical risk and complication was higher than the massage joint traction.
