Professor Song Tuding 's Clinical Observation On Children' S Functional Constipation

Purpose：ToobservetheclinicalefficacyoftheempiricalformulaofProfessorSong Tieding on treating functional constipation in children,and compareProfessor Song’s empirical formula treatment group with the lactulose oralliquid treatment group to assess the clinical effect of Professor Song’sempirical formula.Material and method：Select36children with functional constipation whomeet the inclusion criteria,and divide the36children into two groups,whichare treatment group and control group using random sampling technique.Each groupincludes18cases.In all cases,basis treatment is given to the children of thetwo groups.Differently the children in treatment group are treated by ProfessorSong’s empirical formula (one dose per day,water decoction,each time afterbreakfast,lunch and supper) and the children in control group are treated bylactulose oral liquid(10ml qd.po. after breakfast).After the treatment,the twogroups need the curative effect analysis.Analysis the result of all the datausing the statistical software SPSS15.0,then estimate the curative effectbetween the treatment group and the control group objectively.Results：After four weeks treatment,in the control group,1patient got goodresult,and10patients got moderate result,total effective rate was61.1%;inthe treatment group,4patients got good result,and13patients got moderateresult,total effective rate was94.4%.The curative effect of the treatment groupwas better than the control group.The treatment group in aspect of painfuldefecation,stool frequency per week,stool consistency is better than the controlgroup.The difference was statistically significant. Conclusion：The empirical formula of Professor Song Tieding is obviouslybetter than lactulose oral liquid on treating functional constipation inchildren.
