Clinical Application And Regularity Of Commonly Used Anti - Tumor Traditional Chinese Medicine

The paper is to investigate the clinical application and the law of commonly used anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine. In order to find out the commonly used anti-tumor Chinese medicine in clinical currently, I make the conclusion of how five old famous doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in Beijing use anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine. In order to summarize the commonly used anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine systemically, I collate the the nature and flavor, channel entry, antitumor efficacy, pharmacological effects of he commonly used anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine. In order to have a better understanding of the clinical application of anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine, I sum up Professor Hao Yingxu’s clinical experience in using anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine.The paper is divided into the following three parts:The first part is the review. The review is about how five old famous doctors of traditional Chinese medicine in Beijing (Professor Zhang Daizhao, Professor Yu Rencun, Professor Bing Kui, Professor Sun Guizhi and Portsmouth Li Peiwen) use anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine.According to the type of cancers (lung cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer), I summarize the clinical application in using anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine of the five old famous doctors of traditional Chinese medicine.The second part is the summary of the commonly used anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine.In order to summarize the commonly used anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine, I divide them into seven types according to the principle of treatment. The commonly used anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine is divided into the type of strengthening body resistance, clearing heat-toxin、promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis (cooling blood for hemostasis), eliminating dampness and phlegm, softening and resolving hard mass, regulating qi-flowing method and other. Base on that,the nature and flavor, channel entry, antitumor efficacy, pharmacological effects and toxicity is being summarized.The third part is mainly discuss the clinical experiences and the application of professor Hao Yingxu in using anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine.During July,2013 to December,2014,I collect 1780 prescriptions of patients with cancer whose treated by professor Hao Yingxu while she works in oncology department of China-Japan Friendship Hospital. So that to find out the commonly used anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine and its pattern. Base on syndrome differentiation, professor Hao Yingxu pays attention to clearing heat-toxin and softening and resolving hard mass, regulating qi-flowing for harmonizing stomach, nourishing liver and kidney. Herba Hedyotis, Herba Duchesnea Indica, Rhizoma Dioscorea Bulbifera, Torreya, Nidus Vespae, Rhizoma Bolbostematis,Pseudobulbus Cremastrae seu Pleiones, Salvia Chinensis, Herba Scutellariae Barbatae, Eupolyphaga Seu Steleophaga, Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae, tengligen, Spica Prunellae is commonly used when she aims to Clear heat-toxin and soften and resolve hard mass. Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli, Fructus Hordei Germinatus, Fructus Crataegi, Massa Medicata Fermentata is commonly used when she aims to regulate qi-flowing for harmonizing stomach. Radix Astragali seu Hedysari, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Radix Changii, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Poria, Radix Pseudostellariae is commonly used when she aims to regulate qi-flowing for strengthening spleen. Fructus Lycii, Fructus Corni, Fructus Ligustri Lucidi, Herba Cistanches, Rhizoma Polygonati, Herba Taxilli is commonly used when she aims to nourish liver and kidney.Among them, the prescriptions of lung cancer pay more attention to astringing lung for relieving cough, dissipating phlegm and resolving masses.The prescriptions of breast cancer pay more attention to dispersing stagnated liver qi for relieving qi stagnation. The prescriptions of Esophageal cancer pay more attention to dissipating phlegm and resolving masses and regulating stomach. The prescriptions of stomach cancer pay more attention to regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen and replenishing blood. The prescriptions of lung cancer pay more attention to clearing heat and promoting diuresis. The prescriptions of Liver cancer, gallbladder cancer pay more attention to harmonizing liver and spleen, purging liver and gallbladder. The prescriptions of Spleen cancer pay more attention to regulating qi-flowing for strengthening spleen and eliminating dampness. The prescriptions of Malignant lymphoma pay more attention to dissipating phlegm and resolving masses, clearing heat-toxin.The prescriptions of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma pay more attention to nourishing yin,clearing heat and resolving hard mass. The prescriptions of Renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer pay more attention to nourishing liver and kidney, diuresis and diffusing dampness. The prescriptions of Cervical cancer, ovarian cancer pay more attention to coordinating Chong and Conception Vessels, regulating qi-flowing for removing blood stasis. The prescriptions of Prostate cancer pay more attention to harmonizing qi and blood, nourishing liver and kidney. The prescriptions of brain tumor pay more attention to replenishing kidney essence, eliminating phlegm for calming endogenous wind.Professor Hao Yingxu has her specialty in using the traditional Chinese medicine to prevent and treat the side effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Teacher Hao believes that the deficiency of spleen and kidney is the pathogenesis of chemotherapy.The principle of treatment is to benefiting qi and nourishing blood, strengthening spleen and regulating stomach, nourishing liver and kidney. Radiation is the heat pathogen,which can lead to hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency, impairing spleen and stomach, the deficiency of liver and kidney, stasis-toxin and intense heat. The principle of treatment is to benefiting qi and nourishing blood, promoting fluid production and moistening dryness, clearing heat-toxin, strengthening spleen and nourishing kidney, removing blood stasis and removing obstruction in collaterals.There are 364 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine being used by professor Hao Yingxu. Among them,171 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine are proved to have exact anti-tumor effect. So I summarize the four nature, five flavours,channel entry, toxicity and efficacy of the traditional Chinese medicine.The rule of four nature of drugs is that dispersing cold drugs are more commonly used. The rule of five flavours of drugs is that bitter,sweet, pungent drugs are more commonly used. The rule of channel entry of drugs is that drugs of liver,lung,spleen channel are more commonly used. The toxicity of toxic traditional Chinese medicine accounted for 11.70% in statistics. The efficacy of the traditional Chinese medicine drugs of strengthening body resistance, clearing heat-toxin, promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis, eliminating dampness and phlegm are more commonly used.The results proves the understanding of tumor pathogeny in traditional Chinese medicine and the reasonable and scientific of the treatment of clearing heat-toxin, strengthening body resistance, promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis, eliminating dampness and phlegm, removing toxic substance by toxin.
