| Since the modern times, with the immigrants went to Shanghai,more and morecountryman organizations were established in the city. The countryman organizationshad built some hospitals to solve the immigrants’medical problems. These hospitalswere the part of the medical system in Shanghai. The research of the article canreplenish the study of the countryman organizes and the history of the hospital inshanghai.The main materials of the research related to the archives of the ShanghaiCity Archives and some other makings of the newspaper and the monographs. Theresearch starts at the general situation of the hospitals which built by thecountryman organizations. The research will show the path of the hospitals’development and the content to the government and the public. The research isdivided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the distribution of the time and the spatial, thedepartments of the hospitals.
