The Preliminary Study On The Effect Of A New Activator Protein On Major Agricultural And Economic Characteristics Of Cotton

The study used fungi-activate protein as material, it screened out various pathogenic fungi pathogenic by Qiu De-wen Ph.D. who is the member of Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science biological prevention. This trial soaking seed used 5 different treatments(6ug/ml,3ug/ml,2ug/ml,1.5ug/ml and blank comparison),and the treatment persistence time are 4h, 6h and 8h in 2004-2005. This trial measurement agricultural and economic characteristics of cotton's major growth period with 4 different treatment mode (seed soaking, spray, seed soaking+spray and blank comparison), the results as follows: new protein has distinctness effects on the cotton stems, the number of fruit branches, setting ratio, boll weight, seed refer ,lint percent. The trial results are as follows: 1 , Studies the effects on the new protein in cotton seed germination and characteristics of seedling stage.Trial showed that the new protein will produce the result:(l) it raise cotton seed sprout rate, and with the treatment of 3 ug/ml+soak and 4h,there more 10% than the blank comparison; (2) it can increase the weight of roots, and there have a ideal effect with treatment of 2ug/ml+ soak 4h;(3) it can promoting root's growth, and the ideal effects strength is the treatment of 2ug/ml+ soak 8h.
