In this thesis, it summarizes the progress of studies on breeding methods of the edible fungi and the application of cellular engineering applied to the edible fungi breeding. The biological effects of ion beam are expounded. Meanwhile the advances and achievements in breeding of agriculture and industry of ion beam mutation are introduced.It has not been reported that ion beam was applied to the large filar epiphyte breeding. The thesis takes mushroom Pleurotus ferulae as strain supplied. The general operation of ion beam mutation breeding on the large epiphyte is explored. we have made certain primarily the fittest ion beam accelerated energy and mutation dose of mycelium single-cell and conidiophore of mushroom Pleurotus ferulae by low-energy N+ beam implantation, which are 15Kev and 1.2×1016ions/cm2. We have obtained separately auxotrophy mutation strain of mushroom Pleurotus ferulae with high concentration of temperature A0501 and A0502 through 15Kev and 1.2×1016ions/cm2 N+ beam implanting mycelium single-cell of mushroom Pleurotus ferulae. We have obtained mutation strain of mushroom Pleurotus ferulae with high concentration of temperature A0503 through 15Kev and 1.2×1016ions/cm2 N+ beam implanting conidiophore of mushroom Pleurotus ferulae. Through 30℃ferment experiment with conical flask, we found that the ferment fluid of mutation strain A0501 ,A0502 and A0503 is limpidity and the size of mycelium ball is even. The color of ferment fluid of mutation strain A0501,A0502 and A0503 are brown, orange and beige. But the ferment fluid of original strain Ack is ropy and the mycelium can not be formed into ball. The color of ferment fluid of original strain Ack is khaki. Through beyond 30℃mycelium growth experiment, we found that the surface layer mycelium of mushroom bag of mutation strain A0501 ,A0502 and A0503 is not aging. But the surface layer mycelium of mushroom bag of original strain Ack is abnormal and aging. Through mushroom outgrowth experiment, we found that the mutation strain A0501, A0502 and A0503 can outgrow mushroom...
