The Studies And Revising Of The Quality Criterion Of Foot And Mouth Disease Type O Killed Swine Vaccine

The quality criterion of foot and mouth disease (FMD) type O killed swine vaccine had been modified. The items of physical properties were aggrandized in recent quality criterion, and the ambiguous status of physical properties concept were improved. The physical properties include the appearance of the product, the style of emulsion of the product, the degree of adhesion of the product and the stability of the product in recent quality criterion. The items of safety were aggrandized guinea pig and mouse detection in recent quality criterion. The method of potency detection was revised as PD₅₀ in recent quality criterion. Finally, the new quality criterion of the FMD type O killed swine vaccine was worked out. The Republic of China Agriculture Ministry had issued the new quality criterion.
