Studies On Pathology And Some Toxic Mechanisms Of Sub-chronic Selenium Toxicosis In Liuzhou Black Bioiler

This research regards black chicken of Liuzhou as experimental subjects, study pathology changing and some toxic mechanism that the inferior chronic selenium is poisoned.60 1-day Liuzhou black broiler were divided into 2groups at rardom.The control group fed with ordinary feed.The selenium of tiral group get 12 mg · kg^-1 by adding Na₂SeO₃ into feed and their clinic were observed.The 2 groubs were Phlebotomized in 15d, 30d, 45d respectively,the samples were slaughtered and their Pathological changes of the organs were observed,the heart, liver , kidney, spleen were Collect and the Pathological changes of these organs were analysed ;the mechanisms of Selenium to xicosis were analysed by detecting the levels of NO, activity of NOS and SOD.The results showed that:1 Pathological observation of Sub-chronic Selenium toxicosis. No distinct toxic Symptoms and Pathological changes after 15days feeding with 12 mg· kg^-1feed; the broilers became appetite reduction,spirit depressed, growth slower, liven kidney, spleen temesent after 30days feeding.These symptoms showed there were Sub-chronic Selenium toxicosis and the clinic features ircludng: dysthymic , feather loos and fall off,inappetence,lean, move maladjust, black or white dejecta, joint tumescent,daw bend, hypodermic dropsy.The Pathological histology including: liver tumescent and putresent, fat denature;kidney tumescent and bleeding, granular denature; Cardiac muscle denature and putresent, dropsy;Spleen tumescent, net cell tumescent and hyperplastic.2 The toxicological analysis of Sub-chronic Selenium toxcosis.The Sub-chronic Selenium toxcosis would be induced when the feed added with12mg ? kg4 Selenium because the Selenium cumulated in the bodies.Both the level of NO and activity of NOS in serum ^ liver > kidney > heart of the trial significantly higher than that of control group and the differences in 45d was significant(P < 0.01).The differenece of the activity of SOD at forepat trial were insignificant,but it was significant at 45d.So we concluded that the 12 mg ? kg-1 Selenium in the feed could induce Sub-chronic toxcosis in broiler,improved the activity of the NOS and the level of NO in blood and organs,reduced the activity of SOD in serum and organs,which would improvethe level of O2" ? and NO of the bodies,the cells had oxidation damage and decompensation. Summarize its inferior slow poisoning symptom and have: Spiritual and depressed, apocleisis, the dysontogenesis , become thin; Ataxia is unstable while standing, sluggish; The feather is loose and messy, comes off, arrange the white or the black and relieve oneself rarly; Some chickens joint is swelling and out of shape, the claw is curly, endermic hydroncus. The main pathology change is: Hepatomegaly, necrosising, steatosis; Kidney swelling, bleed, particle a kind of degeneration; Myocardium degeneration, necrosises, hydroncus; Splenomegaly, netted cell's swelling hyperplasia.
