The research is conducted to determine the effect of Hemicell on the growth performance of broilers and approach to the mechanism.Two hundred and 4 healthy 1-day old Avian broiler were randomly divided into 4 treatments, each including 3 replicates(17 birds per replicate). The birds were fed with a corn-soybean meal diet containing different Hemeicell levels for 6 weeks. Control group was supplemented with 0% Hemicell, trails were supplemented with 0. 025% Hemicell for test 1, 0. 05% Hemicell for test 2 and 0.075% Hemicell for test 3, respectively.All birds were raised in three-floor coops provided with light for 24 hours every day at the whole stage, feed and water were supplied freely. Forty eight broilers (two broilers each replicate) were slaughtered and sampled on 3 and 6 week. The growth performance, immunity, digestive enzymes, serum parameters were measured.The results of feeding experiments showed: (1) ADF. The supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the ADF by 0. 04%, 1. 89% and 3. 33% (P<0. 05) in contrast to the control group in 3-6 week. (2) AGF. The supplementation of 0. 025%, 0.05%, 0. 075% Hemicell respectively improved the AGF by 1.26%, 1.40%, 0.98% in contrast to the control group in 0-3 week, 3.51% (P<0.05), 5.06% (P<0.01), 5.39% (P<0.01) in 3-6 week and 2. 86% (P<0. 05), 4. 64%(P<0. 01), 3.18% (P<0. 01) in 0-6 week. (3) The supplementation of 0. 025%, 0.05%, 0. 075% Hemicell respectively decreased the F/G by 1.89%, 2.20%, 1. 64% in 0-3 week, 3.72% (P<0.05), 4.96% (P<0.01), 0.06% in 3-6 week and 2. 14(P<0.05)%, 5. 07%(P<0. 01), 0.58% in 0-6 week。The carcass composition showed that supplementation of 0. 025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the slaughter rate by, #370.49%, 1.86%, 1.32% and the leg muscle rate by 0.14%, 7.82%(P<0.05), 7.13%(P<0.05), supplementation of 0.05% Hemicell improved the semi-net rate by 3. 05%(P<0. 05), supplementation of 0.05% and 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the net rate by 1.56% and 1.18%, supplementation of 0. 025% and 0. 05% Hemicell respectively decreased the abdomen fat rate by 8. 69%(p<0. 05) and 15. 61%(P<0. 01).The result immunity showed: (1) immune organs index. In 3 week-old broilers, supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the spleen index by 38.46%(p<0.05), 11.54%,5. 77% and bursa index by 11.9%(p<0. 01), 11. 6%(p<0. 01), 13. 5%(p<0. 01). In 6 week-old broilers, supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the thymus index by 22.6%(p<0.01),28. 4%(p<0. 01), 18. 9%(p<0. 01). Supplementation of 0.075% Hemicell improved bursa index by 34. l%(p<0. 01). (2) Content of immunoglobulin. In 3 week-old broilers, supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% hemicell respectively improved the content of IgM by 17.2% (p<0. 01) ,6. 57% (p<0. 01) , 9. 02% (p<0. 01) . In 6 week-old broilers, supplementation of 0.05% and 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the content of IgM by 18.4% (p<0. 01) and 5. 53%(p<0. 05).The result of digestive enzymes of duodenum showed: in 3 week-old broilers, Supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the amylase activity by 9.29%(P<0.05), 9. 29%(P<0. 05), 2.50%, trypsin activity by 14. 36%, 86. 35%(P<0. 01), 63.04% and chymotrypsin activity by 11.64%(P<0.05),29. 37%(P<0. 01), 20. 57%(P<0. 05). In 6 week-old broilers, Supplementation of 0. 025%, 0.05%, 0. 075% Hemicell respectively improved the amylase activity by 7.83%(P<0.05), 8. 56%(P<0. 01), 2.73%, lipase activity by 11.11%, 66.67% (P<0.05), 44.27% and chymotrypsin activity by 26. 18%(P<0. 01), 3.24%, 18. 92%(P<0. 01). Supplementation of 0. 025% and 0.075% hemicell respectively improved trypsin activity by 13.4% and, #384. 82%.The result of serum parameters showed: in 3 week-old broilers, Supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved total protein by 16. 24%(P<0. 05), 21. 04%(P<0. 05), 13. 74%(P<0. 01), Albumin by 18. 7%(P<0. 01), 11. 14%(P<0. 05), 11. 69%(P<0.05) and blood P by 16. 35%(P<0. 01), 4.71%, 12. 69%(P<0. 01), blood Caby 10. 42%(P<0. 05), 2.54%, 10.22%(P<0.05). In 6 week-old broilers, Supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively improved the total protein by 10.45%(P<0.05),0. 72%, 17. 53%(P<0. 05), Albumin by 12.09%(P<0. 05), 16. 22%(P<0. 05), 17. 3%(P<0. 05), blood P byl3. 22%(P<0. 05), 14. 25%(P<0. 05), 15. 29%(P<0. 01) and blood Ca by 11. 37%(P<0. 05K 7.83%, 12. 72%(P<0. 05). Supplementation of 0.025%, 0.05%, 0.075% Hemicell respectively decreased the uric acid by 16.77%, 29.03% (P<0.05), 12.40%.
