Gastrodia elata, as a kind of higher Orchidaceae plant without root and leaf, can grow only when it is cultivated together with Armillaria mellea. The relation of G. elata and A. mellea is an important problem for developing biology of G. elata. Different varieties of G. elata were cultivated with different strains of A. mellea, acid phosphatase and accumulation regularity of soluble proteins and polysaccharides during the development of G. elata were studied. The ectoenzyme activities of different strains of A. mellea, and the effect of different strains on the yield of G. elata were studied also in this paper.1. The isozyme patterns and activities of acid phosphatase varied during its growth period. 3 bands of isozyme were observed on the 90th day, but the same bands of isozyme zymogram on the 120th day showed deeper colour. While the band of Rf 0.852 disappeared on the zymogram of 150th day. During the development stage from 90d to 150d, activities of acid phosphatase increased firstly and decreased finally.2. The biological characteristics and ectoenzyme activities of 4 strains of A. mellea were studied. The results showed that cellulose, laccase and polyphend oxidase of strain Mi is higher than that of the other strains.3. G. elata ?elata, G. elata ?glauca S. Chow and their hybrid were cultivated separately with 4 strains of different sources of A. mellea. The results showed that different strains of A. mellea had certain effect on the yield of G. elata, but variation of the content of soluble proteins and polysaccharides had no certain relation with the strains of A. mellea. During the development stage, the content of soluble proteins escalated, and the content of the hybrid is higher than that of G. elata ?elata and G. elata ?glauca S. Chow. The content of polysaccharides increased firstly and then decreased, and the content of G. elata ?elata is higher than that of G. elata ?glauca S. Chow and the hybrid. |
