In this experiment the polymorphism of five genes (KM, MC4R, CSTB, GH and MyoG) was tested by PCR-RFLP, while CTSB gene was tested by PCR-SSCP in line I, II and HI of Jinhua pig. Afterward, SPSS was applied to analyze the relationship between the above six genes and three reproductive traits of NBA (number born alive) , TNB (total number bom) and BLW (little weight at birth). The result is as the following.The monomoirphism was found at the three loci of CSTB (CysB-2), CSTB(CysB-3) and MyoG(PCR-2), but the polymorphisms found at the five loci of RN, CTSB, MC4R, GH and MyoG (PCR-l) in this experimental population of Jinhua pig. The degree of polymorphism at the five loci of RN, CTSB, MC4R, GH and MyoG (PCR-l) is high in line I , comparatively low in line II and HI. The frequency of RN~ equaled to 0.2834, the frequency of allele A of GH gene was 0.5146, the frequency of allele A of MyoG (PCRl) was 0.3456, the frequency of allele 3 of CTSB gene was 0.0079 in whole population, but allele 3 of CTSB gene was not found in line HI of Jinhua pig.RN, MC4R, CTSB and GH genes had a significant effect on the reproductive traits as well as the interaction of the RN and GH genes in Jinhua pig.In the first parity MC4R gene had a highly significant effect on the NBA of Jinhua pig (PO.Ol) , a significant effect on the NBA (PO.05) but no significant effect on the TNB and BLW (PXX05) after the second parity. The locus of MyoG(PCRl) had no significant effect on the TNB, NBA and BLW for each parity (P>0.05). CTSB gene significantly influenced the TNB at the 0.05 level among the all parities of Jinhua pig, but not significantly influence the NBA and BLW for each parity (P>0.05). GH gene had a highly significant effect on NBA, TNB and BLW after the second parity (PO.Ol) , but not significant in the first and second parity (P>0.05). RN gene had a highly significant effect on TNB and NBA after the second parity (P<0.0l) , while no significant effect on BLW for each parity.The interaction of GH gene and MyoG (PCR-l) locus had a highly significant effect on BLW after the second parity at the 0.01 level, however no significant effect on TNB and NBA of each parity and BLW in the first and second parity. RN gene interacted with GH gene on reproductivetrait of Jinhua swine^ The interaction of RN gene and MyoG (PCR-1) locus had no significant effect on NBA, TNB and BLW for each parity. The interaction of GH gene and RN gene had a highly significant effect on NBA, TNB and BLW at the 0.01 level after the second parity and BLW in the first parity, but no significant effect on NBA and TNB in the first and second parity and BLW in the second parity.There was an association found between additive effect of four loci of RN, MC4R, GH and MyoG (PCR1) on reproductive traits (NBA, TNB and BLW) and the time of parity.
